Diadem Cappadocia Guest House & Hostel in Goereme

An exceptional stay. The hostel is set in a real cave, which made it especially cozy on a snowy, icy winter day. The staff is soft-spoken, kind, honest, and genuinely helpful. They assist with booking activities, but you pay tour companies directly — prices were always fair, and they gave honest advice even when it meant less business for them.

The first thing they did was sit me down, offer tea, and give the Wi-Fi password — a small gesture that set the tone. The common room was warm and welcoming, and it was easy to meet lovely people.

The cave rooms stay naturally warm, and the bathrooms were excellent: strong hot water and heated towel racks. The space is clearly well cared for — clean, tidy, and thoughtfully maintained. Breakfast was a proper Turkish breakfast.

Every staff member was kind and knowledgeable, and communication was excellent — they responded quickly via email and other messaging platforms. After visiting 20+ countries, this was some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced. You can tell the people here genuinely love the space they live and work in.

Their wifi is awesome. Super fast and good coverage. Comes in handy when most places in Goreme doesn’t have cellular signal due to the cave walls.

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in around the world. The building is gorgeous old caves, the showers are hot and powerful! Delicious filling breakfast and the hosts will help you with literally anything. Such kind people. Definitely a hidden gem in Göreme!

I stayed here during New Year celebration. Everything was perfect. Great price, great location, and great hospitality. Avni, Seyhan, and all staff had been very friendly and helpful. This had made my new year celebration felt amazing! Highly recommend.

I have stayed in many hostels across countries, but this is hands down the most friendly staff I have ever met. They are your one stop solution to everything, from recommendations to booking hot air balloon and trips at great prices. The breakfast is included, tea / coffee is provided all the time, and the local is right at the center of Goreme. I recommend everyone looking for a hostel in Cappadocia to definitely stay here.

After 3 days in Uçhisar, I came here to spend a week in Göreme. I chose this place after poring over reviews, and I'm quite pleased. I was skeptical of the cave hostel concept and worried about dust, but I didn't experience that. It was an authentic atmosphere. Curtains aren't very common in hostel beds in Türkiye, so I appreciated having them here.
Seyhan and Avni are both pleasant to talk to and helpful. Since I was only here for hiking, I didn't have any experience with tours or hot air balloon rides, but the friends I stayed with were very pleased with the prices and service. As someone who's bothered by businesses trying to sell tours in touristy places, I was also pleased that they didn't bother me about this.
I don't really like having the toilets and showers in the same area in hostels, but I don't know if it's because it's cave-like, but the toilets dry very quickly after a shower. So, it didn't bother me here.
If I ever come back to Göreme, I'll stay here again.

I have great experience staying at Diadem. Warm welcome I felt like home. Staffs are friendly and kind. They tried the best to make sure every guests happy there. Thank you for birthday surprise. The Diadem Cappadocia Guest House and Hostel was the best place I have ever stayed in my life! I would come back to Turkey with friends and family specifically to come back to this place! The two owners are the most genuine, down to earth, kind, thoughtful, trust-worthy, etc. men I have ever met. I came as a 24 year old traveler and they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I could ever need. They provided activity recommendations, helped me plan out hikes, the best itinerary, provided the most amazing and affordable local restaurants, booked tours and activities at a cheaper rate, let me have a late check out, free luggage storage, cooked an INCREDIBLE breakfast, and took care of me when I was sick by bringing me Turkish tea. They deserve the whole world and I will never forget them! I really felt at home and could have stayed here forever. Besides their kindness, it was in a perfect and safe location, the rooms were spotless, very spacious, and super clean! I loved every single thing about this place and I hope to go back one day!

Everyone was so welcoming and helped me every day make the most of my time there, going above and beyond to help me secure bookings for all the activities. This place is a real community and I made friends easily here but also had my own space for downtime with a private room. Super clean, comfortable and ideal location for all trips. Organising all trips with the staff was easy and made all the difference to ensure an unforgettable trip! A huge thank you! No need to look elsewhere, what a place! I hope to be back!

I was in Cappadocia in May 2023 for 2 nights and decided to stay at Diadem. This is an amazing, warm, welcoming place! 😍 I slept very well in the cave room, the beds are very comfortable. There is such a pressure in the showers that you can do a massage 👍🏻😃 Very cozy lobby, unlimited tea and coffee, delicious breakfasts! The hotel is located in the center, close to the train station. The main charm of this place is its owners and employees. These are amazing people - so sincere, sympathetic, friendly. It still warms my heart from their reception! Seyhan is the most smiling person in the world 😃 It was as if I spent the night not in a hostel, but in my own house, where they had been waiting for me for a long time ☺️ The guys helped me with a balloon flight, with excursions. I am still absolutely delighted ☺️ Avni and Lütfiye - THANK YOU ❤️ You are the best.

This is one of my favourite hostels in Goreme. The hosts Lutfiye and Avni, staff working Seyhan and Osman are just amazing! They are so kind and so friendly it feels like being home. They go out and beyond their ways to help out! I have met many other yoga teachers here and had the opportunity to practice yoga every morning on the verenda. Great breakfast, tea and coffee on offer all day. I also had so much satisfaction with eveey activity I booked feom this hostel. Not only did they help with booking but they also helped out throughout and followed up after the activities too. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!

I had an amazing stay here. First off the owner is so nice. She's always available through WhatsApp, so kind whenever you see her around the hostel and very helpful with arranging any tours or planning your day. All the employees also exemplify her attitude towards guests and it makes for a very cozy atmosphere. Secondly, I made amazing friends while staying here. Not a party vibe but more of a patient traveler kind of vibe, which I really enjoy. Clean and super comfortable to sleep inside a cool, quiet cave!!
