I’m not sure about other hotels, but this hotel even had a heater in the bathroom, which was a big plus in the cold weather. Not only were the staff great, but their cats were adorable too! The breakfast was also very good.

Our room was cool and quiet — the kind of quiet that wraps around you after a long day exploring ancient valleys and underground cities. The bed was cosy, the water hot, and the view from the window? Straight from a fairytale.
Breakfast was a highlight: a classic Turkish spread with olives, cheeses, fresh bread, eggs, tomatoes, and fruit — simple, generous, and delicious. We even shared the morning with a sweet mama cat and her kittens.
The location is perfect — just minutes from the Göreme Open-Air Museum and an easy drive to places like Kaymaklı Underground City. After a day wandering those ancient tunnels, it felt so good to return, shower off the dust, and sit on the hotel terrace with a tea in hand as the sun dipped behind the rocks.
The staff were kind, relaxed, and helpful without being overbearing — exactly the energy you want in a place like this.
Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat. It's not just a hotel — it's part of the landscape, part of the story.
In the evenings, Ali was always ready to assist during the night shift, and Nilufer the sweetest, helped us promptly with any amenities we needed. And of course, we can’t forget Fen, the adorable furry staff (orange cat) who visited our room daily—she absolutely stole our hearts.
We will definitely come back again and highly recommend La Fairy to anyone looking for a warm, personal, and unforgettable stay in Cappadocia!
