I read reviews saying it was the best hotel, but the shower hose was a mess, and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The mattress was so soft and spongy that it was difficult to get a good night's sleep. There was parking, but it was very cramped. The breakfast was surprisingly good, with a wide selection. In conclusion, it wasn't worth the price.

If you're traveling to Iğdır for business, this hotel offers clean accommodations. The staff is attentive. Being located in the city center, it's easy to get to many places. Traffic congestion can be a problem if you're traveling by car. Breakfast is served on the clean and spacious upper floor.

The building that impressed me the most in terms of Baltic architecture was the Cheltikov Hotel. I visited all the streets in the center and left the hotel for last because it was far from my route. When the rain started, I wanted to have a tea in the restaurant section. After taking a breather, they said they would serve the tea when paying. The staff were very polite.

The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the Castle and other interesting sights. The staff were wonderful, kind and considerate. The communal sitting area is lovely and I was plied with tea all afternoon. The place is really warm which as a February visitor was important. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice. Management concerned about electricity costs, so no AC or even just fans in the hallways or (small) elevators, making the hotel in general hot and stuffy with temps in the 90s outside.
