Our stay was nice enough but many things were not worthy of excellent review.

The new owners opened a month ago and part of it may be learning curve. We got the last room one of 2 tiny rooms (6&7) with little space for luggage. Should have just single bed in them.

When we came down for breakfast at 9, one owner was asleep on bench, no tables were set. And when he finally awoke he made excuse that cook didn’t show up. As if it was ok for guests to find someone asleep in dining area. Eventually a nice breakfast was served.

We were moved to the larger room 12 which I can only describe as hothouse because of windows on 3 sides. The old aircon could not compete with all the windows. We asked to be moved and got the much better room 9. Airco worked great. All the rooms have the all-in-one tiny bathroom open shower variety which is perfectly ok. The rooms have tea kettles, nice touch but cord wasn’t long enough to reach high socket. The beds were very comfortable, the towels thick and thirsty.

They let us park our bicycles securely in the breakfast area.

Location was good for us. Walking to the center of Ayvalik is convenient.
One of the owners speaks German but none English.

Great choice in Ayvalik. Hotel is Basic and functional. Great setting in an old building. Special thanks to the host, who came in 2 hours early to make us breakfast and still give us a chance for an early leave to go to Pergamon:)

The place couldn't have been worse if they tried!.They stuffed 3 of us in a tiny room, with beds with only a bottom sheet and and a throw on top. I was so cold, and I found it difficult to sleep. No hot water, no plugs next to the beds. It was so noisy, and if people walked past our window, we were woken up!

A very sweet family is running this old but well kept hotel. We stayed for one night and everything was perfect!

Boutique hotel is good if to define it as B&B hotel. So basically it’s a perfect spot to spend a night to refresh yourself between going to multiple beaches or strolling around the old streets. Hotel is situated in an old building (est. 1700-1800 B.C.) so little or no change were made to the walls, but it’s very well decorated with some antique items. Rooms are pretty small, with air conditioning, most importantly it’s clean. Breakfast is served in the backyard cafe. Hotel is petite and it makes you feel at home and relaxed.

The location of the hotel is quite good and it is an authentic hotel. The bathroom is a bit small, but the overall atmosphere is really good. Ms. Alev, the manager, is a lady who is very interested in her customers and observes everything. The day after we arrived, he took us to a bigger room. Parking is close.
