Matin is an incredibly kind, warm-hearted, and genuine person who goes beyond being just helpful. He truly cares about the guests. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and supported, always ready to assist with anything we needed and doing it with a sincere smile and positive attitude.
People like Matin make a big difference and turn a normal stay into a memorable experience. Because of his kindness and the great location of the hotel, I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again. Thank you, Matin, for your outstanding hospitality!

The hotel is located very well: not a noisy street, no people, no cars, no bars, but still on Istiklal. People are very friendly. Water in the showering good. And that’s all. After the cleaning all the floor was dirty. It seemed like they mopped with a dirty mop, leaving all the dirt on my floor. The chair is covered with stains. Dust everywhere. Random hair on the door. The window was broken, they fixed it. You hear all the noises there, so I recommend use earplugs. Breakfast looked good but it wasn’t nourishing. Tea was so good.

Excellent hotel! The staff was superb, and it was always clean. The reception service was very responsive to all our questions. The location is magnificent, you're right on Istiklal Street in just one minute.

The hotel is strategically located in the shopping district making it very convenient. Although the lobby appears a bit old, the rooms and breakfast dining area are surprisingly well maintained, beautiful and pleasant. The staff are extremely kind and welcoming, making the stay even more pleasant.

Nice hotel, clean and conveniently located just 20 meters from Istiklal Street. The only thing is, the reception staff were a bit odd, almost like they weren't really involved with the hotel.

The rooms are good and comfortable. The breakfast is fair, and the service is good overall. Matin was especially very very nice and helpful during our stay. Thank you!😊

The hotel was difficult to access via airport transfer for large vehicles (no drop-off). The reception was dim, poorly lit and not welcoming. The furnitures were dirty and haphazard. The rooms: the beds were dusty, the bedsheets were pilling and itchy to sleep on, the toilet was awful with dirty sink and no strainer, the old hairdryer made a smoking smell and is discoloured, the stainless steel bins provided were dented and not able to open. No facial tissues were provided. The television did not work. The phone to call the reception was also not working. They provided hand towels instead of bath towels. When provided with bath towels, there were holes and frayed ends. The rooms were covered in pictures of people dancing Tango - which was extremely unappealing. Moreover, I had requested for a king-sized bedroom based on the size shown in pictures, but in real life, it was extremely small. It was not able to fit two suitcases in there. There was no standard of cleanliness in the room or outside the room. The rooms and corridors of the place smelt like cigarette smoke - which is extremely unhealthy for anyone to inhale. The reception was also filled with cigarette smoke due to the receptionist constantly going out to smoke. The breakfast was located in the basement, which was unappealing and disgusting. The hotel is not family friendly and is not recommended for any travellers. The pictures on Booking.com and Google were not representative of the actual hotel. Overall, this place lacks hygiene, proper sanitation, facilities for sleeping and cleanliness. It was NOT SAFE.

We stayed here for two nights & definitely wont choose it again, except for the location all the other aspects was less than the minimum, breakfast was too simple, they didn’t even serve scrabble eggs just boiled eggs!!
the rooms where dingy, old & definitely far from being called clean.
If you want to have just a place to sleep & be close to istiklal it maybe a good choice other than that there is no good vibe.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough! If you stay on this side of Istanbul I would highly recommend The Tango Hotel. The rooms were clean, quiet, great breakfast, the staff were friendly and super helpful. Very close to Istiklal Street, but also very quiet. Heaps of places to eat nearby. We walked everywhere from the hotel and it was easy. If we come back we would have no hesitation to stay here again. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I booked four nights for my relative and
One of the my cousin is handicapped he can’t see an walk , they after me and my wife tried to go and visit them in the room, the hotel manager didn’t allow us to go visit them

It was a small and good hotel.
Rooms were so clean and the breakfast area has a panaromic view.
But the variety of breakfast food was not good enough.
The location of the hotel is so good.
Generally i was satisfied with the hotel and attitude of the staff.

For 4* hotel is not that good, staff is not welcoming, they are not speaking english that good so for everything we want we have that language barrier. Breakfast is nice because of the view but everyday offer for breakfast is the same.
Location is very good because taksim square is near so you have metro, bus and everything is close to you.

The room is too small ( bathroom is separated only by glass from the sleeping room) , it was not clean at all, no bright lights, the service was not good.
Only the food was good, so better look for another place :)

Don't even consider coming here. Hotel staff is rude, they told us we had to pay extra for breakfast even though it was included in our booking. Rooms are very small and extremely smelly. Elevators are small as well. Only good thing was the breakfast but not good enough to recommend the hotel.
