Clean and comfortable

The room was acceptable and located in a prime area. The reception staff were helpful upon arrival. The room itself was of adequate size; however, there was a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom that spread throughout the entire room. When I raised this issue, the only suggestion offered was to open the windows to air it out.
On a positive note, the location was excellent, close to restaurants, shopping areas, and public transport, yet still very quiet at night. Breakfast was good, mostly fresh Turkish-style dishes with a few international options, and there was slight variation each morning.

Booked a room here for family and they enjoyed their stay. Walking distance to attractions such as Galata bridge, Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar. Walking up the road to the hotel after a whole day walking was a little hard for the kid, but playing with the cats in front of the hotel made up for it. Breakfast options were minimal for them.

The hotel's location is pretty good, within a 15-minute walk to attractions in the old town. It's also just a 3-minute walk from the hotel where the 007 movie was filmed. The room was standard, had everything we needed, and the breakfast offered a good variety. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the ferry terminal is only 10 minutes away. Overall, it's a decent place. The only downside is that taxis can't access the street in front of the hotel during the day, so we had to drag our luggage uphill for a bit. There were two cute cats at the hotel entrance!

The breakfast was great! The service was very nice. The slope outside the entrance can be a bit slippery when it rains, so you can take a taxi to a nearby spot and walk up. There are lots of cute little cats by the entrance! Overall, it was good.

Good value for money. We had a bit of trouble finding it at first as we weren't familiar with the area, but it's very close to the Blue Mosque and the ferry terminal. The hotel's cleanliness and rooms are both good. The front desk staff can communicate in English and are very friendly. You can store your luggage there in advance, and if you need more water in your room, you can ask the front desk to send some up for free. The hotel breakfast is also good with a decent variety; the waffles are delicious and not too sweet.

The room was clean and bright, but the bathroom floorboards were moldy and got on the towels. The service was good.

The rooms shown in the pictures are only available on the fifth floor, but the front desk said they couldn't provide one on the day we checked in. They also claimed the hotel never guarantees specific room types, which left us speechless. I remember when we booked, this room type was advertised as a corner room with three windows, suggesting it would be much larger and required an extra payment. However, the room we received was a standard lower-floor room with only one window. I hope Ctrip verifies the accuracy of the information provided on their website.

Great hotel, pretty new since early 2024. Near spice bazar, near jetty for Bosforus cruise. The room is cosy, clean and secured. Breakfast is quite good, and the lift is well maintained.

Our stay at this hotel had both positives and inconveniences, and I want to share a clear and balanced overview for future guests.
The room itself was comfortable enough for a short stay, and housekeeping did come daily, which we appreciated. However, there were small details that detracted from the overall experience. For example, the sheet on the bed had been put on upside down when we arrived. Not a major issue, but it did make the room feel a bit less carefully prepared.
Housekeeping also missed some very obvious trash. We had several empty water bottles that were piling up in one corner of the room, and although we didn’t place them directly next to the bin, it should still have been clear that they were trash. The bin provided was extremely small, so there wasn’t really a practical place to put them. It would have been helpful if the cleaning staff had removed them during their daily visit.
Another thing travelers should know is that the hotel is located on a steep street. While this might not bother everyone, it can be tiring and inconvenient,especially when carrying bags or walking back after a long day out.
The biggest issue for us, though, was the heavy presence of cigarette smoke in and around the hotel. This isn’t the hotel’s fault directly, but it truly affected our stay. It felt like almost everyone smoked, and the smell was noticeable as soon as we stepped outside and even in the lobby at times. For non-smokers or anyone sensitive to smoke, this can make the stay uncomfortable.
Overall, the hotel has some good points, but the combination of minor housekeeping issues, the steep location, and the constant smoke in the surroundings meant we didn’t enjoy our stay as much as we had hoped.
