İstanbul Terrace Hotel in Istanbul

Spent one night here. Good location near Metro but a walk from the main sites. You can bus/Metro to sites. Dorm room was small but clean. Fan doesn’t hit upper bunks Breakfast offers a lot of food but nothing amazing. No social area beyond the dining area so you're unlikely to meet other guests. There are a few restaurants and shops in the area.

I’ve stayed in quite a few hostels this year and none of them can beat the quality of this one. The hotel manager has been very accommodating by helping me carry my suitcases up the stairs and provided extra pillows for me which was important because I was healing from facial plastic surgery. The breakfast has a lot of fresh fruits and delicious meats and cheeses and was very satisfying. The internet and AC both work which is a non-negotiable for me and the main terrace area is kept clean and inviting. I liked that the beds were comfortable enough and the location is close to restaurants and main attractions but best of all the prices are kept reasonable. I’ll be keeping this place in mind when I return to Istanbul

Very nice place and good hospitality in this hotel. Good food for breakfast. Friendly owner and cozy room at the balcony. Affordable price and near to get public transport. Nice friends in female dormitory. Will stay here again next trip to Istanbul

Convenient access: 1 hour by metro from the airport, 1 minute walk from the nearest metro station, 10 minutes walk from Aksaray bus stop in Habaisto. I arrived from Tokyo early in the morning and had a lot of time, so I took the metro to the airport, and the return flight was a late night departure, so I took the bus to the airport. It took 30 minutes to get to the airport on a Sunday night. They allowed me to check in early after arriving. Clean and comfortable room. There was a toilet and shower room in the room, and the hot water was good. Shampoo, soap, hair dryer, indoor shoes, and large and small towels are included. (No shower cap) The heater worked well and the bed was comfortable. Buffet breakfast: There is a restaurant on the rooftop terrace, and a free breakfast buffet is included. There were cold dishes, hot dishes, and Turkish crepe-style dishes with vegetables, fruits, yogurt, and cheese. Two types of juice, coffee and tea. I did not stay overnight because I had a late night flight on the day of my return, but they changed the meal to the day of arrival. It's not bad, but there is no elevator and the steep stairs to the 4th floor are quite tough, so I recommend it for minimalists who travel with only carry-on luggage. There are no reading lights at the beds, so I used the light from my cell phone. Because of the time difference, I wanted to go to bed early, so an eye mask is necessary.

A great place to stay, the hotel is close to public transport to the major attractions but you can also walk, which we did the first day to explore the neighborhood. Service is good, when we checked out we were able to store our luggage and even got help arranging taxi to the airport (he even got us a discount). Free breakfast is lovely and the terrace is open till midnight so you can chill and get yourself some complementary coffee tea and water. All and all a hotel that offers great value for the price. Would definitely recommend.

A very good hospitality & manager/staff were lovely. Near to the tram, metro. The room was comfortable and clean, the air conditioner worked beautifully. Nearby the Blue Mosque, walking distance to the nearby eatery, shops, salon/barber, turkish delights shop & etc. Will definitely come back!
