Hotel Orkide in Istanbul

It's a decent little hotel and very good for the price. Location is good as it's just in the edge of the center, close to some of the landmarks. The room was rather clean but there was a strong smell at times coming from the bathroom. However the receptionist was really nice and gave amazing tips, especially where to find food nearby. All in all would recommend.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this small hotel! We were overwhelmed by the very nice perfume smell that you could feel at the very entrance of the hotel, the clean hallway, stairs and rooms! Also the staff's hospitality and guidance made us feel very comfortable and we will surely come back again here at another time.
On top of the building, there is a terrace with chairs and tables, with a view to the Kennedy blvd. and to the area street. The bathroom was clean at all times, our room was constantly cleaned and aired, and a lovely towel arrangement was laid on our beds when we checked in.
You can go out and find great local meals and low prices on your way to Suleymanyie mosque...

Great little hotel. Staff were very kind to let us have early check-in as I was feeling ill. Room was small for 2 people but still comfortable. Location was a bit of a walk from the main attractions but still close enough to the action with lots of great food options nearby.

NO REGRET TO CHOOSE THIS HOTEL AS A SINGLE WOMAN TRAVLER. It has great location 10 ~20 minutes by walk to famous mosque and grand bazar.

I was so afraid of the bad reviews which I checked right before I arrived at hotel. I was kind of freaked until I arrived here. But the recepcionist was súper kind. he lifed my luggage up to the 4th floor(yes they dont have a elevator). And as an Asian woman, we have a stereotype that Turkey would be dangerous a little bit, But the zone where the hotel is located is súper safe. because there are literally more than 100 hotels or hostels around this zone, from the metro it takes 12 minutes by walk but its really safe until 3 o 4 am even in weekdays . a lot of people is out there on the street and all the restaurant around the hotel is open until 3am. I had a 3 o 4 hours night trip alone to the ayasofia and blue mosque by walk and ate kebab at 3 am. There were a Policers 24h, full of people and full of restaurant and bars out there. Bedroom and bathroom was clean. They offered shampoo And hair conditioner.
