I had an incredible time at this hotel. The staff was very attentive, Ismaël prepared exceptional dishes for me, and he was always available to answer any questions. I highly recommend this little paradise. Thank you to the whole team! David 🇫🇷

Sahar Sultan Hotel is excellent, has a great location and the service is also good. I am impressed. Everyone should stay here. I'd give it 100 percent marks.

I chose this hotel because of the reviews that seemed pretty good, but when I arrived, I got a different room than the one I booked. On the top floor, an extremely small and smelly room. I asked to change our room and after long negotiations we got another one, although that wasn't the room I booked either. Later I found out that they had moved other people out of the room to accommodate us. The bathroom and bed were full of long hairs, there was no shampoo and shower gel, so we had to go buy some as there was no one at the reception. The breakfast was extremely poor with only a few cheese and vegetable products, the filter coffee looked like it was made from yesterday's coffee grounds, the glasses and plates were very dirty. Breakfast is only served between 8:30 and 10:00, but even then they don't follow the schedule, at 9:30 breakfast was gone and we had to go somewhere else. In the hotel description they say they have sauna, massage, hammam, etc. but what do you see they only have a transfer to such a spa. I recommend it and not really because of the things listed above…

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at this hotel! The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, and the location is perfect — all the main attractions, such as the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia, are within a 10 to 25-minute walking distance.
One of the highlights was the beautiful rooftop terrace where breakfast is served each morning. The view is stunning, and the atmosphere is peaceful — a perfect way to start the day.
The hotel staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help. They arranged transportation for us to and from the beach, as well as a taxi to the airport, which made everything much easier. In the evenings, they made us coffee, played music, and spent time chatting with us, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
One morning we were a bit late for breakfast, but they happily prepared it again just for us, which truly touched us.
We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and homely stay in Istanbul. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent little hotel with a great value for money. The location was perfect (quiet street but a 5 minute walk from many main attractions). The staff was kind and friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast consisted of a variety of sweet and savory options. The small terrace offered a nice view of the Blue Mosque, especially at night.
If I had to make one criticism, our toilet sometimes produced an unpleasant smell, but we just closed the door to keep it contained. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Our 5th visit to Istanbul but this time we changed the hotel. We were lucky to discover Sahar Sultan Hotel, who has not only a great location, 5 minutes walk from Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Top Kapi, Basilic Cisterna, Serpent Column, Column of Constantin, Islamic Art Museum, but it is also a recently fully renovated hotel with very spacious rooms for Sultanahmet area, modern bathroom, large comfortable beds, very good breakfast, served by excellent, extremely polite and helpful stuff ( you can ask anything you need and they really offer to take care of everything). It has a nice top roof terrace with a wonderful view over Marmara Sea and Adalar (Princess Islands: Buyukada, Heybeliada, etc) on one side and Blue Mosque on the other side, whom you can enjoy any time, day or night. Definitely a hotel we will very much wish and enjoy to visit again.
