A very basic hotel, although not too far from Taksim square, i didn't love the pocket it was located in, my preference would be closer in to Taksim Square. Really a budget hotel and doesn't feel like a 4-star property. You get what you pay for with the rooms

Very good location. Closed to Istiklyal, metro and bus. Just few minutes by metro to Bosfor.

Excellent hotel. The staff is superb, the room is wonderful. All the city centers are within walking distance. My room was large and clean, and they cleaned it every day, even though it wasn't really necessary. The shower was good, modern, and flawless. The hotel also looks very nice from the outside. The owner is great: he'll answer any questions and help you out, and it was a pleasure talking to him. The breakfast is standard; anyone who's been to Turkey knows what that's like. I want to come back again. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

The hotel is comfortable, clean, close to tourist attractions, easy to travel, the staff are very attentive, and the breakfast has a variety of options.

Taksim Square is convenience for airport, attractions, and food.
Hotel's location was great, especially I booked with a decent price.
Room was super big, and everyone included with a breakfast. And the room is super clean.
There waa a super market called SOK nearby, only few mins walk.

Fantastic.
Very good location, very close to TAKSİM square and istiklal street. 350 meters from Havabüs station . The room was big enough, the breakfast was very good.

Location near taksim square and bus service to airport! Breakfast was ok need to add some more items! Ac was not working properly! Staff is friendly!

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I wish the hotel continued success.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

Edit 1: the issue is solved after a long discussion back and forth with the hotel and Booking.com.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
