Freya Luxury Hotel in Istanbul

Service bad , breakfast simple , they don’t offer water to the room

I am giving 1 star solely for the hotel's accessibility to public transport and proximity to various tourist attractions. Other than that, this hotel is far from being a 4-star establishment.

The place is extremely noisy. The music from the neighboring nightclub is unbearable, with the singer's voice echoing until 1 AM. The street is also incredibly loud, with construction work, trucks unloading stones at 1 AM every night, and vendors making noise. These disturbances woke me up every night, and it was impossible to fall back asleep for hours.

The soundproofing between rooms is non-existent: I could clearly hear the plumbing sounds when my neighbors showered or spoke. This is certainly not the standard of a 4-star hotel.

In terms of infrastructure, it's disappointing. The door handles are broken, the rooms are dark, and there's no ventilation. The view is unpleasant, and nothing matches the photos shown online.

The breakfast, served in a basement restaurant, is very limited and unappetizing, with poor service.

Additionally, housekeeping enters your room during your absence, even when you haven’t activated the cleaning request signal. This is unacceptable.

This hotel ruined my stay in Istanbul. I felt anxious about returning to the room every evening.

It was the worst experience of my life! the hotel is located in a noisy place! They gave me a dirty room! the bed full of hair and stains! We found condoms in the toilets! our terrace overlooks buildings opposite and everyone could see the room! no more solutions have been provided to us! It was the worst night I had! I had to stay 8 days I only had 24 hours!

no action from the hotel and they don't want to reimburse me! especially didn't believe the photos on the site, it has nothing to do with it
