Great location near major tourist attractions and tourist ***** on the European side of town. Close to metro system and ferries. Had a happy stay here. Happy to return if I come back to Istanbul.

We stayed at Hotel Sultania in Sirkeci from 8th to 13th January, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I have had. Travelling with my wife and our 10-month-old baby, we felt genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. When our driver struggled to locate the hotel, the staff kindly arranged to collect us from Gülhane Tram stop, which immediately set the tone for the stay.
We were welcomed with pomegranate tea and Turkish delight, given a map of Istanbul, and introduced to the hotel in a calm and thoughtful way. When our luggage was brought to the room, the staff member politely asked if we would like an explanation of the room features, which showed a real respect for our time.
The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and full of character, with a balcony and elegant Ottoman touches. Housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay, and when we requested a kettle to prepare milk for our baby, the staff went out of their way to provide one, which made a big difference for us.
Breakfast at Olive Restaurant on the sixth floor was a daily highlight, with freshly cooked dishes made to order and attentive, friendly service. A high chair for our baby was always provided without us needing to ask.
A particularly special moment was the birthday surprise arranged by the hotel, with a complimentary cake and handwritten card, followed later by a beautifully decorated bed with flower petals and swans.
Hotel Sultania combines elegance with genuine warmth and outstanding attention to detail. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul and would gladly return.

Rooms in the same price range can vary quite a bit in size, but all are clean and tidy. The staff are attentive, hospitable, and very helpful. The location is perfect, easy to find and close to the tram line, attractions, and restaurants. Beautiful, exotic Ottoman-style interiors and a delicious breakfast.

The hotel is in a good area when you want to see the sites.
There are a lot of restaurants and stores next to the hotel. Tram and train close by.
Age is starting to show and some places would be in the need of fix up. Clean, but little dated.
The staff is really nice and helpful.
Room was ok size with a little french balcony.
Breakfast was good with lot of varieties.
Insulation is not great and noise from outside can be heard.

We stayed at the Hotel Sultania for two nights and had a great stay! The hotel and rooms have old world charm and also modern amenities and are super clean. Can't say enough about how nice and helpful the staff were, they really try to make your stay enjoyable. The other great thing about this hotel is its location. Fifteen or twenty minute walk to so many great sites! There is also a fantastic buffet breakfast for a reasonable cost at the Olive Restaurant right on the premises. All in all, highly recommended!

Staff was incredibly friendly!! Room was clean and very spacious! Rooftop food and drinks really delicious!! Location can’t be better. Next to all the fun shops and important sites. Will come back for sure. Don’t miss traditional Turkish Bath and Massage! Susy was the best!!

I liked the hotel. The location, cleanliness, the staff. The breakfasts are just a bit weak. You definitely can't drink coffee from the machine, it would be better if they removed it altogether))
