"This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Upon arrival, we were sent to a basement room that smelled of dirt and had an unpleasant odor. They then asked for more money for a 'better' room, which was still not much better, with a broken air conditioner verry dirty rooms. The breakfast was a complete disaster; they served leftover food from the previous day to the next guests, which is completely unacceptable. The staff member at the front desk was particularly unfriendly, and despite our patience, it was hard not to get angry. The rooms were not cleaned, it’s pure scam this hotel. This hotel completely ruined my vacation, so I strongly advise everyone not to go here. It's absolutely not worth it

We arrivered a half hour prior to check in time, there was no one at the front desk (which is only a desk with a computer). A guy came half asleep out of a hotel room asking what we want, so we told him we have a reservation and would like to check in, only to be bluntly told check in is at 2. We were fine with waiting, however there is NO SECURED LUGGAGE STORAGE, you have to leave your luggage ungarded in the lobby which only has 2 couches and is litterally next to the entrance door. We ended up being checked in at 2 and our room key wasnt working, went back and the guy seemed to be irritated and instead of giving a new room key he took the stack of keys went to scan them in front of the door he came out of and the first one thaf worked, gave to us. The rooms are extremely small and a lot of damage. There is no phone in the room to call the reception and the mini bar is empty and disgusting. The walls have pieces broken. When we adressed all of our issues the next morning to the same guy that checked us in, did not even hesitate to tell us to go somewhere else in a rude way. When we requested to speak to a manager he claims to be the manager. I told him that i would like a refund but was told no because you booked nonrefundable. FYI if he was the manager he could have arranged this if he wanted to (i know becaue i work in a hotel ). We said we wanted to have a solution to the issues in the room and he said he could give us another room. And our roomkey wasnt working again so we needed a new one, again. NOW HERE IS SOMETHING CONCERNING WE RECEIVED A MASTER KEY. WHICH MEANS WE COULD ENTER ANY ROOM WE WANTED, OCCUPIED OR NOT, DOES THAT SOUND SAVE TO YOU?. We checked the other rooms and they all had issues so we decided to stay in the room we had and to just "sit it out". A couple evenings when we came back , I noticed the guy drinking from a Jack Daniels bottle, never heard or seen a "manager" drinking on shift. Oh and breakfast is not server as shown as a buffet, you just get a plate with sometimes very noticeable old things on it. Don't believen me? The pictures will confirm it all.

Terrible place – nothing like the pictures!
This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The photos online are completely misleading – the reality is nowhere near what was shown. The room was dirty, smelled awful, and the furniture was old, filthy, and also had a bad odor. Everything felt neglected and unhygienic.
The staff were extremely unhelpful and rude. They didn’t seem to care at all about the guests or any issues we brought up. Overall, the entire stay was awful and disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone – avoid it at all costs!

First, the service attitude is very bad. He got impatient after translating twice. If you don’t have patience, don’t work in the service industry, okay?
Second, we booked a double bed online, but they gave us a single bed. They also said they would give us a double bed. They gave him a good review online

Wasn’t comfortable

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.
The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

small and nice hotel very central, easy to get around in every part of the city. the staff is polite and kind I was in Istanbul for work and a bit of vacation I managed to do both without problems. they recommended me a place not very touristy and very Turkish and I was able to play a bit.. thank

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.
Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.

I came in December so it was fairly quiet, but if you come in the warm months there will surely be a large crowd. The terrace upstairs offers good views around and a good place to meet people. Located very well right off the Sultanhamet Tram stop, and very convenient to get to almost anywhere in Istanbul. Offers cheap breakfast, cheap ride to airport, and nice rooms with heat/ac and warm water for shower. Wifi is average. Hosts are very helpful, and informative. Great place to stay, especially for backpackers.
