Reasonable hotel decent rooms and great service

The room was tiny: CONS:
1. My husband squeezed into the shower stall with difficulty, the toilet is under the sink...
2. Service - I gave it a 2 only for the reception - they check you in quickly, help you take your suitcases to the taxi when you leave.
We returned at 11:50 to close the suitcase, wash up and check out - the room was open, everything was taken off, towels and the bed were made up, and the cleaner kicked us out...
3. Breakfast - nothing tasty, you can only eat vegetables and boiled eggs. Drinks - diluted to zero.

Pros
Location - there are inexpensive eateries nearby, going up - a direct avenue to the sights, going down - shopping arcades

On check in. I was told I would not be stopping at that hotel but would be moving to a friend's hotel further down the road, I was was disappointed as that was the hotel a friend had recommended.

I knew this wasn't in the touristy area of Istanbul. I chose the location to be closer to a musical instrument shop I wanted to visit. So this isn't a hotel designed for tourists. It caters more toward business travelers. So it isn't particularly pretty, but it's clean and had a good break every morning at 7. Definitely worth what I paid for it.

Very comfortable clean hotel. The rooms are large, spacious and bright. The ceilings are high, white and grey. I liked it very much.

The breakfasts were fresh and varied. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a very walkable area.

Would never recommend it to anyone valuing quality service. Air conditioning in the room is old and works too loudly and not properly in hot temperatures. The room was not cleaned on the daily basis, though I stayed there for 3 nights. Breakfasts were monotonous. The man on the reception the day I checked in was extremely unhelpful dealing with the problem that occured, concerning cancelling my Turkish friend's booking unexpectedly within some hours before his arrival. I neither got any reasonable explanation of this from the receptionist nor apologies from the manager.

Great place! Everything is close by! We walked around all the sights!
The room is clean. The hotel staff is very friendly.
As you leave the hotel, on the left is a canteen, budget. They cook simple food, everything is tasty and inexpensive.
And there are also a sea of ​​cafes around!
