The guy at the hall is very friendly and professional. Overall very good quality-price ratio and very nice view from their breakfast room. It would be definitely 5 stars if not because one day during breakfast, I had a runny nose and one of the cleaning ladies who was also having breakfast had an inappropriate comment saying that it was disgusting for her that I had a runny nose and that my manners were awful for blowing my nose at the table. If she was a client, this would not damage the rating of the hotel, but being an employee, this lady should understand she represents the hotel, and this is not the way to address customers while they are having breakfast. I hope she can improve her way of addressing customers, this way preventing further damage to this hotel’s well-deserved 5 stars ratings. Apart from this small episode, everything else was perfect and I would love to come back to Istanbul staying at this hotel.

This hotel is definitely a pro/con hotel. If you accept some minor downsides, the upsides are well worth it - but you need to know the downsides before booking.
Pros
1. Great fresh breakfast included with the price of the room
2. Fantastic view from our room, and from the breakfast - which is on the roof
3. Terrific location - 5 minutes to the sultanahmet mosques
Cons:
1. Shower backed up, and we had to run the water for a while before we had warm water
2. The room was not quiet. The t6 train passed by every 15-25 minutes, quite loudly and the mosque does call to prayer 5 times a day. I found that I tuned both out after day 1 - and you’ll hear call to prayer anywhere in the city, anyway. But the walls are also paper thin and it was a little disturbing to hear other people showers running and knowing others could hear ours.
Neighborhood:
- it’s very touristy - you could have guessed that; but this means that each restaurant and storefront will try to hustle you inside. Honestly it’s like this for a mile or two in any direction.
None of this would keep me from booking again but I know some might want this information before booking.
The directions from the airport that Google gives you kinda suck if you’ve never been to Turkey before. I’d recommend taking the m11 to the m2, then either to the t1 at the university, or t6 at the end of the line (yenikapı) —

The room is congested. Ac didn’t work in our room. No hot water at night. The staircase is small , difficult to carry the bags, as there is no lift. No water was given inside room. More over the road is closed due to construction , and we have to walk all the way to hotel carrying all our luggage

Horrible!!! If you want to be awake all night this is the prefect hotel for you! Because the sound of the train will not give you the opportunity to have a comfortable sleep! The staff doesn’t know a lot of english the conversations are really hard. This is not nearly to what Istanbul can offer you! The only good thing about the hotel is the location. The walls are very thin and besides the train you can hear very well the conversations between the people in the next rooms. The towels were ripped and looked dirty. There were holes in the wall and the furniture needed renovation. I don’t recommend staying in this hotel, because it will ruin your whole trip!

We found nails in our room and when we reported to a senior man (hotel worker) that was outside our room he laughed, he was also snooping around the rooms and felt very uncomfortable, we had a different experience with the young guys at the reception they were helpful and professional. Rooms are small but the hotel is well situated.

The hotel it is placed very near to the centre of Istanbul, but unfortunately the rooms are very small, with old furniture and very unclean, just the bathroom are refurbished. The terrace where is served the breakfast has a stunning view but it is old and very dirty. I was disappointed regarding the breakfast, the water dispenser it was miserable.
The only good thing was that the cats are allowed In the hotels all over Istanbul,I loved it 🥰.

The location is a short walk from several museums and tourist attractions. The staff were all very friendly. When i arrives they even gave me options two rooms for me to choose from. The view from my room was beautiful.

Great small family-run hotel. Located in the heart of Istanbul. Rooms are small, but clean and have everything you need: a safe case, mini refrigerator, shampoo, hair conditioner, soap and plenty of towels. Breakfast is varied. I loved to stay on the terrace in the evening and have a cup of coffee or tea (self-service).
The staff also helped us with parking our car on the narrow streets, which was a big help because of how tight the space is! I did ask for this in advance when booking our room though.

Requires repair.
Hotel stay terrible.
Stayed regularly at the hotel since 2012.
Now the hotel has become worse and needs repair, the smell of sewerage in the bathrooms, the roof leaks in the rooms, the Internet constantly freezes and you have to ask to restart the router.
Breakfast has become very modest, they save on everything. Previously great breakfasts. If you can get a coffee you are lucky, because coffee machine broken.
In the mornings, there were a lot of people at breakfast, as people from 3 hotels gather, the breakfast area itself is small and suitable for only 1 hotel.
Previously, the hotel had free tea and coffee all time, now only for breakfast.
In general, the hotel has become much worse.
In the refrigerator steal food that was left for storage.
The staff is friendly which is a plus.

They are theifs! The management team stole £900.00 from our safe after they taught us how to lock everything up. Pathetic. Please stay away from this hotel. My mother a pensioner is devestated. The management team are not helpful at all nor do they understand. Please be careful and wise before booking. Also, the hygine and breakfast is so poor. I have complained to Booking.com as well but highly unlikely to go anywhere with our complaint and issue. We have reported to the police as well.

Thank you for the best service we have ever witnessed in Istanbul. I came here for a good meal from Kazakhstan with my friends, but also got a very good emotions. Kurban is very intelligent and welcoming person, all the staff was friendly and polite. Thank you!!

COME DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY! Super fun place if you're looking for a sparklers-DJ-dancing-on-a-rooftop vibe. We went late night for some drinks and caught a PARTY instead. If nightclubs are your scene, there's no better way to do it than here because you also have the best view of the blue mosque.

It was a fantastic experience with wonderful hospitality! We ordered drinks and food, and afterward, they generously brought us tea and some sweets on the house. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. if I visit Istanbul again, I’d definitely come back here. Also, such an amazing view.

I can only give all the praise for the Hotel and the employees. The hotel is in a great location where everything is available to you. From the moment we arrived, the employees welcomed us very warmly and helped us with our luggage. They were happy to help us with any information we needed. The rooms are tidy and are cleaned every morning. I even received a gift for my birthday that was waiting for me in the room to my wonderful surprise. My rating is 10. All recommendations from the bottom of my heart. I can very happily recommend this hotel. Thank you and see you next time. Greetings from Bosnia and Herzegovina
