The roof top has a great view. The lady from the breakfast is always smiling and very nice. That been said the low price is justifiable on comfort. The beds are a bit too hard, duvet a bit too short and the towels are a little old. Anyway for this price and that location it is worth. I and my wife stayed for two nights and didn’t have any major issues. At the end they took care of our luggage after the check out and before our flight.

Location is amazing. 3 mins walk to the blue mosque, restaurants, cafes and bazaar. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The terrace view is AMAZING, the staff is AMAZING and the location is less than 5min walk away from all the tourist spots. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Istanbul

The hotel offers everyhing they promise. The best part is the terrace - it has a breathtaking view to the blue mosque. And the interiors are set into the antique style, rooms are cleaned, room service cleans them daily, and they serve standard continental breakfast downstairs. Staff was a little bit confused, they all spoke good English, but after the check in, they gave us keys from the room that has already been taken. It was slightly confusing, solved quickly, but at first I wa a bit scared (was our booking already taken? will have the room here?) and it also did not make me feel comfortable to leave the keys at the reception desk - because - what if they give our keys to sb, when we are out of the city? But after all it turned into a funny story, we got a nice room, and everything was all right. Hotel is loated right in the center, in the walking distance from the main sights like Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basilica cistern or Granda Bazaar. The view from the upper floor terrace is absolutely breathtaking!

Glad we picked this hotel! The location is amazing, close to the trams, lots of nice restaurants and attractions within walking distance. All the staff at the hotel were accommodating and very helpful. Great buffet breakfast, and the view from the terrace is super. Couldn’t recommend this place more 😊

When choosing a hotel in Istanbul I struggled to find something that was
1- well located to main highlights
2- economical
3- clean.

Sultan hill ticks all these boxes. Yes the rooms are small, yes there is no lift but we were on the fourth floor and the stairs are very minimal and easy to manage even with Luggage and kids!

The staff are very friendly and super helpful. Helpful advice was always ready and the front desk was always manned which is fantastic.

The room was adequate and clean. The size was the usual European size. It’s well worth the money. The breakfast is delicious and fresh.

The hotel location is just behind sultan Ahmed with a great view from the terrace. Would recommend for a budget conscious traveller that’s looking for something smack bang in the middle of the action with a clean comfy bed at the end of the day.

We really liked the hotel, it is old and charming. Friendly and helpful staff. We were especially pleased with the breakfasts and the terrace with a stunning view of the surrounding area. Only you will be woken up early in the morning by loud singing, as the mosque is very close

Great location, amazing breakfast, helpful employees and terrific owner!

I visited Istanbul in March and stayed here for almost a week, enjoyed their breakfast every morning - woke up early just to treat myself with the home made jams and variety of bread and spreads and so many options! The rooms are welcoming and cozy - I was lucky to have a room with the view of the Blue Mosque (unfortunately under construction when I was visiting). The terrace is lovely - with seating arrangement - you can have enjoy the water view. The lovely housekeeping staff ensured my room was clean and bed ready everyday without fail. The gentlemen at the front desk have been helpful since I landed in Istanbul - with following up on my pick up to answering all questions - English is widely spoken by staff. The owner is the most helpful person I have met in a long time! He is someone who will go above and beyond to ensure your comfort. I just mentioned I needed the lab test completed, boom! he arranged for someone to come over and take my samples and even kept a copy of the results ready for me when I returned after sight seeing that day. I mentioned I wanted to see the Whirling Dervishes, bam! he made a phone call and told me the availability and arranged my tickets. Ask him for the directions to somewhere and you will have the most cost and time effective route within seconds. If you need anything - just let him know - he will not disappoint. Having stayed there for a week, I was not looking forward to leaving. 12/10 will stay whenever in Istanbul.

I stayed for one week at the Sultan Hill Hotel, we were a family of 6 people. I have to say it was one of best hotels I’ve stayed in thus far. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and hospitable, especially the owner Ali. The facilities were above expectation, including very good wifi and good cleaning service. Our rooms were cleaned to a very high standard every day and very good air conditioning. We had a tasty complementary breakfast everyday. The best feature is the location of the hotel, it is a 5 minute walk to Hagia Sophia and 10 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque, nearby to the grand bazar. You will be situated at the heart of Istanbul - this is a unbelievable deal for the price !!! Will definitely be visiting again.
