The Kybele Boutique-hotel in Istanbul

I stayed for three nights!
The hotel is conveniently located right next to tourist attractions like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and the view from the top fourth floor was amazing. Lamps were hanging everywhere in the hotel, creating a stylish and relaxing atmosphere.

I'd also like to thank all the staff for their courteous assistance with my poor English!

The breakfast buffet had the same selection every morning, as I had read in reviews, but it was delicious and I was very satisfied.

I'd definitely like to stay here again if I visit Turkey again!!

The hotel is within walking distance of popular tourist attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Basilica Cistern, and is also close to the tram station (Sultanahmet Station). It was a great location for me, visiting Istanbul for the first time.
It gets busy late into the night, so noise can be a concern. Earplugs are helpful.
I booked a single room, so it wasn't very spacious. There was no space to open my suitcase.
There was also no TV (which was fine, since I wasn't going to watch it anyway).
There was bottled water at room temperature, but no coffee sticks or tea bags. There was an electric kettle, though.
There was someone at the front desk who could speak basic Japanese. It was very broken, but I felt a bit at ease.
Breakfast started at 8:30. I wanted to be up early, so I thought it was a little late.
There was a tip box at the front desk, so I left a tip for the person who helped me make the bed and carry my luggage (there were only stairs).
Other than that, well... I arrived more than three hours before check-in time, so I asked if they could store my luggage for me, but they said my room was ready, so I was able to check in early. They also offered to store my luggage for me after I checked out, so I was able to enjoy sightseeing until the very end. I was very grateful.

I really loved the hotel. It's incredibly authentic. The atmosphere is incredible! I highly recommend it.

Check-out was at 11am, but they kindly allowed us to leave the carrier in the room until 1pm, which I really appreciated.

Hotel is small and strategically located
Walking distance to all the hotels nearby
Super old and lots of antiques
If you have kids or those have allergies, best not to stay here as it is quite dusty
Perfect for solo travel
The breakfast is the same everyday and a simple spread
No lift and lots of stairs to climb
If you have lots of luggages - the room is too small to keep your bags

The location is really great. The area in front of the hotel is lit up, so it's safe for women traveling alone.

We just stopped for brunch here. Great service. Menemen and eggs with Turkish sausage were delicious. Make sure you get the yogurt and pita to eat with everything. Comfy seats outside too. Very very nice. Would recommend.
