Reviews
- Margarine for breakfast, not butter, was not a good surprise.
Now I will start with the biggest issue and that is the fact that the hotel manager wanted us to pay 900 turkish lira (£18) because my brother had gotten blood on the bed sheets due to his medical condition.
For some reason they were unable to wash blood out of their bedsheets? They told us that the bedsheet was high quality and would cost 900 lira to replace but if its high quality why didnt the blood come out, it seems like they bought cheap bedsheets and washing liquids and have tourists pay money whenever they stain them. One of the hotel workers told us that they typically charge guests whenever they stain the bedsheets so if its so common why dont they include that in the rule sheet that they have in the hotel room or atleast let guests know?
Another problem with the hotel, you can get into your neighbours room using the balcony. For some reason, the hotel decided it was a good idea to build a bridge between the balconies, if you didnt close your balcony door properly someone could get into your room through the balcony all they would have to do is cross the bridge conveniently placed there. To lock the balcony door you have to close it fully and face the door knob so its facing down, the hotel manager never told us this either.
Another problem, right outside the hotel they advertise a pool for our entire stay the pool was not filled once it was just left empty. Luckily there are fun stuff to do around the hotel like going hiking up the mountains or going to the beach but the hotel doesnt offer much other than a place to rest also one of the rules is you can't eat in the hotel room.
Another thing to add, some of the furniture in the hotel comes apart VERY easily, the tables next to the bed come out with a simple pull and the handles you use to put your towels on broke on the 2nd day. I am quite certian that the hotel manager would have charged us for this as well had we asked him to fix it also the lock on our bathroom door in our room was broken as well. The showers are awful, the pressure is so low and there are only two options super hot or super cold, you have to slowly turn the knob until it turns to a temperature that doesn't burn your skin off.
Edit: We didn't tell you about the blood problem because it shouldn't difficult to clean blood off bedsheets though I will say we could have given you prior warning. However, there are still a multitude of issues you didn't address, why did you overcharge us to replace the bedsheets, why is the shower pressure so bad, why does everything in the hotel fall apart so easily, why does the balcony have a bridge to the other rooms, why was the pool that you advertised outside of your hotel and in your listings not usable.
The impression I get from your hotel is that you guys use a variety of different methods to extort your tenants, a lot of your furniture is easily breakable and you advertised a pool but it was NEVER available.
Special thanks to the chef for the amazing eggplant and cheese flatbread for breakfast.
The breakfasts are monotonous, but there are watermelons and lots of greenery. You definitely won't go hungry. The staff is exhausted, they don't smile, and often don't even say hello.
It seems that the hotel is tailored for Russian "package travelers". At first, they didn't want to accommodate us in a fully prepaid room, citing a glitch on Trip.com. Then it was sorted out, but tension and misunderstandings are not needed on vacation.
The hotel has a nice pool. There is a bar.
The air conditioner worked fine
