Sun and Sands Hotel in Dubai

I paid ******* for 3 nightes but hotel did not recognizr the reservation and told that they stopped working with ******* since several monthes before my booking , expedida did not yet refund me , ******* took my money although it do not have relations with the hotel... sorry but no one can be happy with that , ******* called me but they told me that refund is not guaranteed ...!! buy why ? i paid ******* for service which they could not provide.. it is ******* problem and i want my money to be refunded... i will never ever stop writing every where in the net untill ******* refund me , only then i will publish to every body in the net that ******* did refund me and can be trusted again .. sorry my freinds *******...!!!

My GOD - now towels for two days / mold on the walls / horrible service / had to ask for towels 5-10 times to get them after two days / dirty sheets - in brief horrible experience 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I was settled there for 5 nights with my family. my wife and a 12 years old son. I've heard that this hotel is not appropriate for family, however I didn't paid attention to advices. so I booked this hotel and then I noticed that I made a big mistake. staffs were not friendly at all. awfull breakfast, actually better to say no breakfast. just honey, butter, egg, and no more. cocroaches were seen both in room and in breakfast hall. location is good. not recommend for family.

Not worth taking. There are definitely better ones in this area for the same price. Overall impression - a dump in a bad area. We took it for one night. We regretted it.

The worst hotel I have ever been, avoid this! Rude staff, awful management and terrible service. I checked out 30 minutes late and they charged me $200 extra!!!! The rooms very not clean, and hot water was not working either! Breakfast was Ok.

As soon as we walked into the hotel the strong smell of cigarettes takes over your nose. The desk agent informed us that the hotel was smoke free which I assumed they changed the policy that day.
Once we were given our room as soon as we stepped into the room I stepped on a roach. I thought okay this wasn't going to work. My husband had to use the bathroom when he lifted the toilet seat the lid twisted off the base. The toilet filled up very loud. I watched roaches crawl from under the bed, on the dresser, on the sink, on wall and from behind the headboard of bed.
I sat in a chair until morning, we had no other place to stay since our flight was cancelled we ended up here because it was close to the airport and ******* rating wasn't too bad. Our flight was cancelled for 2 days this hotel was so horrible we decided to sleep at the airport for a day than stay another night here.

It’s not good for family

The hotel is located in a bad area, where many Indians live, who do not care about cleanliness, the area is very dirty, but the metro is nearby, you can get to any place, but a lot of money was spent on travel, Jumeirah is located in the third zone from the hotel, the fare is 7.5 dirham, multiply by 26 rubles. On the neighboring streets there are bus stops, you can go to any place, the fare is 5 dirhams, we went to La Mer beach every day on the x28, the stop is behind the deira clock, you can see them far away, go in the opposite direction, back to where you came from. 35 minutes. Lots of shops nearby. About the hotel: it’s very old, a lot of things could just be replaced, the trash cans in the toilet are rusty, all the accessories are yellow, the bathroom is old, the walls are yellow, they give you one small towel and 2 large ones, but they are clean. Detergents for one person only. The buffet, or as you can call the eatery, is located in a separate room, parties are held there, you can hear a little music at night, it’s something, the floor is all bulging linoleum, there are some kind of moronic high tables on which people walk at night, they’re all old, the chairs don’t move, Otherwise you’ll hit your table so hard that you’ll spill everything you took. And there’s nothing to take at all. Breakfast is very poor, egg, butter, jam, toasters, two types of potatoes, no meat or chicken, no tea at all, a small jar of juice, there is a coffee machine. Everything is so old and wretched. But what I want to say about the staff, I won’t say anything bad about them, they try, they are always smiling, they asked to stay in the room for up to two hours, they didn’t refuse, thank you very much. The result, I wouldn’t go there a second time, when it was built, it was apparently beautiful, the furniture was rich, but the refrigerator, curtains that can be washed, it leaves a bad impression.
