Yesterday at 1:10 PM, I called the hotel to confirm whether we could check in at 2:00 PM. I understand that standard check-in times must be respected, and since I also work in the hospitality industry, I know that exceptions can sometimes be made depending on availability. I clearly explained that I live nearby and simply wanted to confirm in advance to avoid any confusion upon arrival. Andro confirmed over the phone that we could come at 2:00 PM and mentioned that it would take only five minutes to provide the room.
However, when we arrived at 2:00 PM as advised, Andrew changed his statement and asked us to wait around 30 minutes. Even after waiting, we were told to go back and come again later. The way we were treated was rude and unprofessional, which is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. As someone who also works in this field, I found this behavior very disappointing and disrespectful.
Additionally, after check-out, when I mentioned that I would be leaving a review, Andro responded by saying “good job,” which again felt sarcastic and insulting. We did not receive any apology for the inconvenience caused.
I would like the management of Abidos Hotel Apartment to seriously look into this matter and take appropriate action. I also request an update regarding this complaint and the action taken.
Overall, this experience has affected our impression of the hotel, and I hope management will address this issue to maintain proper hospitality standards.
I had a very pleasant stay at Abidos Hotel Apartment Dubai Land. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the comfortable bed, which made the stay feel like home.
The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful from check-in to check-out. They responded quickly to any requests and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
The location is convenient, especially if you are visiting Global Village or need access to main roads. It’s also quiet and peaceful, which is perfect for a relaxing stay.
Overall, it offers great value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families and friends, and I would happily stay here again.
