Reviews
The mini-hotel itself is clean and +/- comfortable, if you get the room you ordered, and not what the hotel owner decided for you.
Then the pain - the main shock - the inadequacy of the owner! I booked their improved triple room, which costs 1500 UAH according to booking data, received a booking confirmation, but during check-in I was told to pay 1550 UAH and after ... we were accommodated in a regular double room with the argument - "there are two of you who have arrived". ... Of course, we called the owner (because there was no one in the hotel) and politely explained the situation, assumed that it was a mistake, because the concierge of the residential complex where the mini-hotel is located checked us in, and asked to move to our booked room, but ... then something began that I have never encountered in my entire life and all my travels ..... During the conversation with the owner, I was shocked by his inadequacy and unprofessionalism - at first he said "there are two of you who have arrived, you will have enough", then he started saying that we should pay another 400 UAH, then we would get an improved triple room (the very one that I had directly booked 2 weeks before ....). This is despite the fact that at the time of my booking and this conversation, their most expensive suite with a hot tub cost 1800 UAH (the person is just brazenly trying to divorce us three times in half an hour), then he accused Booking that they were writing information on their own behalf, and he had nothing to do with it, and he didn't need to do anything about it, it's not his problem... And the highlight (further direct speech) - "if you don't like something, move out, but we will keep 200 UAH, because you've been communicating with me from that room for half an hour now, so you live in it....) He also compared my "claim" with the claim of Kyiv residents - why do Shahids fly to Kyiv.... of course, he couldn't explain what the connection was... in short, I'm in shock and would really like such boors and inadequate people to never encounter me or anyone else while traveling, especially through booking on Booking.
The hotel itself is a bit difficult to find, as it is located in a multi-storey residential complex, but the security on the first floor helped to orientate yourself.
The room is a separate story. It is quite spacious, with a comfortable bed, a microwave and a refrigerator, a small wardrobe with a mirror. But the bathroom is a joke. It is tiny, the shower is separated by a thin curtain, the floor is just tiles, without any separation from the main room. The entire floor is in water, there are no slippers, you swim shorter. But the boiler is right above you, so the hot water is all yours.
We encountered an unpleasant situation - we booked a specific room almost two weeks in advance. Then they reminded us several times and asked if they could check us in a little earlier than the check-in time. Then we confirmed our reservation the day before arrival, paid for the room, and provided the necessary business trip documents that they asked us for. And on the day of check-in, it turned out that the room we had booked was not available for check-in, because there were still people living in it... They offered us a slightly cheaper triple room. Since we had paid immediately, they offered to refund the difference in the amount. We agreed, because we needed to live somewhere. A few hours after check-in, when we were already at the event we had come to, we decided to check in via Viber when we could pick up the accommodation documents that we had agreed on, and the money that they had promised to return. To which we saw the question "Do you want a refund?"...
No one explained to us how it happened that we were unable to check into the room we had booked in advance and that they had guaranteed us.
The hotel's attitude towards the guests left a very unpleasant impression. We went to the meeting, were treated with understanding, helped with clarifying the current room prices, informed about their absence on Booking. But in return we did not receive a good attitude towards ourselves
Next on the list is the street entrance, or rather, the path you'll have to take. It's practically impossible to get there alone with a heavy suitcase.
I booked a room through Booking.com, and my expectations and reality were completely different.
The room is a meter by meter, advertised as a double, but there's no room for two people to even stand there; there's simply no space.
There wasn't even enough room to open a suitcase.
The shower/toilet are the same size.
The bathroom has liquid soap and, apparently, even shower gel.
The beds are clean, there are towels, two per person.
They managed to fit dishes, a microwave, and even a refrigerator.
There's no window in the room.
The incredibly friendly receptionist saved the day.
I couldn't find any other positives.
I definitely won't be returning here again.
The boiler was enough to fill the bathroom by 70%.
Of the minuses - at night the entrance is locked with a key and you have to call the administrator by phone. There is also no rug in the bathroom and a mop to remove overflowing water.
No shampoo or shower gel. There is a microwave oven, kettle and dishes. Not very convenient entrance.
