I found the hotel through Booking.com. It wasn't easy, considering I was only staying with one person. My impressions of Malva were excellent. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and discreet. The location was simply gorgeous.

I give 5 stars to the hosts for their hospitality, ability to find a compromise on some issues. The man who met us was very polite, offered additional things during the check-in to make our stay comfortable. It seemed like the owner was there. If it was an administrator, then a big plus for the owners for such staff. Convenient location. It was especially good to have a parking space in the hotel courtyard...

A good hotel, although not expensive. The staff is pleasant. Not far from the pump room, 5 minutes. A minute's walk from the bistro restaurant, Rodnoy Kray, the best place to eat, cheap and tasty. I was looking for an inexpensive hotel and at first I stayed at the Villa Lydia. I suffered there, because it was not heated properly, and the blankets and pillows smelled of something unknown. Nice and cosy place for truskavets stay. Very near to the city facilities and center. Great location considering the fares. Neat and clean rooms.

Walls are paper thin and you can hear every word from next room. I had no sleep untill like 1:30 am because quests in the room nexto me were loud. Wifi was decent. Girl at the reseption was very nice and helpfull. Considering the price, all in all, it is not a bad deal.

Good for the money. If you pay more you can expect more. So for the price its really good. Not too far from city center. Tram number 6 will take you there in about 15 - 20 minutes

Solid 3 out of 5. The room was exactly the same as we expected - small, with all necessary stuff. We had hot water, enough towels, free WiFi. However, it wasn't really clean - we lived with spider's family. And bed wasn't very comfortable for my back. It's okay if you want to live near city center for not a lot of money, not in hostel, and have your own bathroom. Probably won't stay there again

Very cheap accomodation, located sixth floor in the building. The walls are very very weak, so the room can be noisy during the day. There were hot water in our private bathroom. The stuff slightly speaks english.

WiFi is super. Rooms are spacious. Hotel is clean. The atmosphere is quiet. Mostly students live here but there seem focused no parties in dorms. Reception is friendly. Definitely more worth than the price.

The lowest price I could find in Lviv. They have plenty of rooms, so the rooms are pretty spacious with one level beds only (not bunk ones). Liked the green views from the rooms. Location ideal for people who want a little peace and quiet, still within walking distance to main attractions. Facilities are great and staff will always try their best to help.

The price and quality of some service don't match at all. You wouldn't expect the waiter bumping through a back door to the SPA area you book entirely for yourself without even knocking or calling you. But receptionist and security gentleman saved the impression, 5 stars. Breakfast a bit poor.

If you speak only English you'll have really hard time at breakfast. :(

The staff is good, the room was ok, spa is included to the room price, it is great to relax here after the trip and before going out. But it's far from the city center and music from their restaurant could disturb you at the evening.

There were three nights in a family room. Everything is clean, tidy, everything is in order and most importantly it is very warm, especially the floor, a large, clean, warm bathroom, which is important after a walk in the frost. The canteen in this complex is a great place. One of the best combination of price & quality we've seen so far for this type of place. The beetroot salad with feta cheese was so good that I seriously want to ask for the receipt)))). We had two full vegetarian lunch courses for less than 5 dollars. Is a hub for travelers and truck drivers. Evaluate it with a low rating because it's quite dirty, it's still obvious, because there can be a lot of customers at once. Public toilet there is free but awful and dirty. I guess I would avoid using it next time. We stayed there for one hour since bought there a dinner. There is buffet, due to the quarantine in the country - you are allowed to buy food ...

Although weird looking, this place offers free toilets and great food for small prices. We were able to eat with my wife for just 120 hryvnas.

Purely. Prices are reasonable. The dishes were prepared quickly. Ordered brine, borscht, salad with salted salmon, bone steak, dumplings with potatoes and cracklings brought everything hot and it was very tasty 👍 Thank you ❤️

Found this gem of place when looking for a rest, after travelling with our campervan through the Carpathians for 2 weeks. Ended up staying 3 nights!! Lovely service, (fabulous laundry service too, they even laundered our camper linen) communication worked well with Google Translate, good prices, clean and comfortable beds. Gorgeous bathrooms. So I was on my way to Lviv and decided to spend a night in Stryi. Randomly found Le Grand online and as it turned out, staying there was the highlight of my trip. Location is between railway station and the city center. Room is comfortable and clean BUT no AC, only one window and opens partly, 3rd floor and no elevator, infront of the room door was an apartment with men setting in the corridor (just saying :) ) Staff helpful but for a slippers u have to pay 20 hrn (bad quality slippers) In general for its price is not bad but make sure if u have alot of bags...

Inconvenient to get there. Near the hotel, everything has been dug up, renovation work is underway. I had to call a taxi. The room is on the ground floor, the windows face the courtyard. At 23.20 a group of young people decided to go out into the yard and have a meal. They ran up and down the stairs, talking loudly. The room itself is normal. But it must be borne in mind that there is no refrigerator...

Top recommendations! Excellent service, good location and only pleasant impressions from the apartments. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail: a beautiful barbecue area with everything you need, spices in the kitchen and even a first aid kit in the room. A wonderful place. The views from the cottages are simply stunning. The house is equipped with everything you need (a fully stocked kitchen, bed linen and towels, warm blankets and throws). It's warm inside. Heating comes from a wood-burning fireplace, and each room also has additional ceramic panels.

I like it a lot, I had only one night here. The bed is a little low to me and on the softer side. Room is clean. The staff is kind and helpful. I like the food in the restaurant. Christmas deco outside is fine.

We stopped looking for a clean bathroom. I t was clean. And stayed for a late breakfast which was good and reasonably priced. We did not stay at the hotel but based upon the restaurant and good service, will consider it. It is very near a must see castle.

Pretty nice place to stay during Plaj ski tour. There ia a restaurant with local Ukrainian cuisine so you won't be hungry. Also during warm summer days you can enjoy medium size pool. I should admit nice service and pleasant staff.

At Panska Sadyba it is almost impossible to find flaws. The very few there are, I should list right away: - Sound proofing is by far the biggest single flaw. It's nonexistent. If someone's snoring at the other end of the building (and snore they will) - you better not be a sensitive sleeper. The staff of there hotel are very kind and gentle

A small hotel for 32 people, 4 km from the city center. Two-story building. On the first floor there are car repair shops, on the second floor there is a hotel. The rooms are clean, 2, 3 and 4-bed. Continental breakfast, served at a certain time in the rooms. The cost of a taxi to the hotel via Uber from the city center is about 2 euros.

The room was nice, but it was on the second floor of the car maintenance building. Housekeeping was poor, with strangers' hair in the shower and fallen eyelashes in the sink. The worst part was there was a huge bug on the wall that kept flying around. Parking is 10 UAH per day. The tram ride to the center is a few stops away.

Overall, the impressions are good, but having a toilet and shower together is not very comfortable + a small kitchen right next to it is not very OK We were aware that there was no shelter When there was an alarm, the front door to the hotel was closed, and the administrator was not there. We never managed to get out. This is a security issue after all. Please remind the night admin about this.

Stayed here on 10/14/21. I liked everything very much. Despite the fact that the check-in is from 14.00, we were settled earlier. It's a nice hostel located very close to the Lviv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. You can visit everywhere by walk from this place. The price is ok, staff is ok. The room, bathroom and toilet are too narrow, no more place to move. It's the only weak point. There some supermarkets and nice cafes near the hostel.

Relative cleanliness, no Internet access in the room, only in the lobby, where there is no plug for your computer if your battery is flat. Othewise, the personnel was nice and friendly, and the room spacious. You need to pay in cash, and bankomat nearby does not provide the best exchange rate and commission.

Our room was tiny and clean. Great alternative to hostels, if there are only two of you and you do not want to share the space. If you are searching for more luxurious stay, would not recommend this hotel. Great location, 10 minutes walk from the center

The hotel is right at the city center - the location is great! Clean rooms, decent breakfast, nice decor. The only thing that surprised me was the fact that there weren’t any toiletries (only tiny soap - no shampoo, no shower gel) and NO WATER in the room. I have never stayed in the hotel that didn’t offer a bottle of water. I checked in late at night, so I couldn’t even go out to buy a bottle of water...

Great hotel for the price paid. Located 10 min walk from Lviv Opera house. Amongst downsides: no dedicated auto parking; street market on Saturdays - leaves not the best impression, but that's another side of Lviv city (life is varied - that's for sure 🙂); breakfasts are moderate. Pros: cozy rooms with all basic facilities provided, nice courtyard, little noise from the street.

Considering location great price. Clean and tidy. Nothing to complain about. Nice service and 24h desk. Only thing I would work on is the breakfast. 4 days the same menu!

Internet speed and connection stability was very poor. Breakfast was standart but acceptable. Hotel's place is quite hard to find because there is no any English sign on the street but they sent location information after booking.
