Overall, I was really disappointed with my stay at this so-called five-star hotel. On arrival, we were immediately met with an unusual amount of street noise in our room. The staff did mention they’d follow up, but they should have just arranged a new room right away—it’s their responsibility to ensure we were fully comfortable. Then, on the second day, I left a polite note asking for a milk refill, as they provide milk in the room. Sadly, no one acted on it, and I only got it after going to reception. Breakfast service was also slow—simple coffee took over five minutes, even though it was nearly empty. And when we asked the concierge for a lunch recommendation near Buckingham Palace, they suggested a place only open at dinner. Given that the hotel has restaurants in the same group, they really could have recommended a suitable lunch spot. Even a simple request like a bag of chips couldn’t be fulfilled due to a stock shortage. Finally, on departure, we paid for breakfast but didn’t get a receipt (because we didn’t ask at the time), after a long phone call spelling out details multiple times, and after more than 4 emails and more then 5 days we still do not have the receipt. For a hotel of this caliber, the service and communication were just lacking. I hope they improve, but for now, I can’t recommend it.

We stayed at The Montcalm Mayfair, perfectly positioned in an exceptional central location, and from the moment we arrived the experience was flawless. We were personally welcomed at the door by Michael, Max, and Mohammed, whose warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail immediately set the tone for a truly premium stay. The hotel itself was immaculate and beautifully maintained throughout, offering a sense of understated luxury at every turn. Akira Back was equally impressive, already a favourite of ours where we live, and the standard here was every bit as exceptional. While every member of the team delivered outstanding service, Laura was simply remarkable. Her commitment, care, and genuine desire to exceed expectations were second to none, an example of hospitality at its very finest. It is individuals like her who elevate a luxury hotel from excellent to unforgettable. The atmosphere throughout the property was elegant yet welcoming, with staff consistently anticipating needs and going far beyond what you would normally expect. This level of service clearly sets The Montcalm Mayfair apart from its competitors. An outstanding hotel in every respect, and one we will most certainly return to.

Everything is perfect. The hotel located at a quieter corner of the Oxford circuit. Very accessible by public transport.

I’ve been to my fair share of hotels, but this one tops them all! The service was impeccable and all staff were only too willing to help and go the extra mile! We ordered kosher food and they made sure to accommodate accordingly without let or hindrance! Laura from the restaurant was a real gem (as all of the staff). Additionally, Luis - head of the Food and Beverage department was always readily available and willing to accommodate! We can confidently say we found our new home away from home when in London!

We had the most wonderful time at the Montcalm. What stood out most was all the staff’s attentiveness. Everyone was always polite, genuinely considerate, and quietly tuned in to guests’ needs. From the lovely AM breakfast, Laura was most kind and cheerful in welcoming us, and we dined in at Lily several nights since the food was so good (esp. the tuna pizza, devil shrimp, miso cod) with Omkar and Christina being so attentive and professional. Goran, at concierge is truly the "best in London" and sought out an esoteric inquiry about an interior design question we had! We loved this location too. When you drive up, it is situated on a "crescent" and the entrance is so elegant. The doormen are exceptional in greeting you - one with the best eyeglasses (forgot his name) is so attentive and then Fabio is great at offering directions and advice. Nearby, you have Oxford Street (near Marble Arch) which you can ramble down to Bond St if you want buzzy shopping, but all the little shops and restaurants within a 4 block radius are just as appealing with a curated flair. Overall, it was an elevated experience. Loved it.

Montcalm Mayfair is lovely! I highly recommend staying here. It felt conveniently located in central London, easy to get around and safe! The property is beautiful, the rooms clean and modern. Everything felt brand new. I went to the restaurant for breakfast a few times and it was fantastic. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Michael at the front truly went above and beyond welcoming me and helping with luggage. I wish I took more pictures, but here’s breakfast one morning and the cute bar!

We had an amazing experience at this hotel restaurant. The service was excellent, the staff were very professional and polite, and they paid great attention to our preferences. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety and fresh flavors. Everything was served with care and made us feel home . Highly recommended!

Best location in London. Lovely staff. Amazing food. The room is huge and the interior design is great. Very comfortable bed. The amenities are exceptional : Dyson hairdryer and GHD hair straightener. I definitely recommend

Even though it is a chain cafe the coffee here is great and most people love the scones. Breakfast is okay. Groupon does afternoon tea for two for £20 here which sounds like a good deal.

Visited on weekend. The belly dancer was very entertaining. The food was good and the place is a little noisy, which is what gives a restaurant life!

The food is delicious, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The price is quite high, but for such good food, it is reasonable. Would recommend a visit to Maroush bakery after eating to get some tea and dessert. The restaurant has a nice environment, and is suitable for families, or for formal dining. Would recommend to anyone.

The food too expensive and portion are so little for two of us we paid £82, I came out hungry , the music nice but sound was quite disturbing. very nice belly dancer ?. I don’t want to go again.

Great, authentic food. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the rice was flavourful. The waitress gave us a complimentary bowl of various fruits and baklava. The price is reasonable & the atmosphere is lively & clean. Highly recommend.
