I loved my stay here. It was such a charming hotel, with great amenities and a fantastic restaurant. The staff was so helpful and attentive. I only stayed for 1 night, but I really look forward to coming back again someday for a longer stay. You cannot beat the location either!

The Durrant is a charming true English Hotel. The staff, setting and location are ideal. The rooms are cozy linens pressed and towels always clean. Hotel could use a little freshening up paint wise but everything was spotless and again the staff was wonderful! We also celebrated Christmas dinner which was delicious! I highly recommend staying at this Marylebone Charming hotel

The Durrant is a very charming hotel, the room and numerous sitting areas downstairs was enough for my needs during my 1 day stay. Some things to note: the tub part of my shower was very high, someone older would definately have difficulty stepping in and out. Also I forgot to report it to the front desk but my hot water handle for the bathroom sink had to be turned numerous times before water came out. The toilet also needed to be flushed more than once. And the old school skeleton keys while quaint were are cumbersome when it came to actually opening my door and forced you to use both hands and its no wonder they offer to keep them for you at the bell desk because they are quite large!

Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the windows open for fresh air if you like that. Durrants has improved its amenities by having a fridge/mini-bar in a fairly ordinary room. You cannot beat this hotel for spacious common areas. While I do not like the new messages in the lobby, I do like the porter service very much, including the ritual of handing in your key each time you go out.

Staff were very friendly and ready to resolve any need or issue quickly and discretely. Wanted to thank the manager that changed me to an even lovelier room when I encountered noise neighbors. Location is just unbeatable with great shopping, pubs and restaurants all on your doorstep. Will hopefully stay again soon.

Lovely ambiance. Terrible water pressure. Weird shower arrangement. Coffee machine in room takes too much space.

The staff were attentive and took care of every need. Coming back to the lobby fireplace after a day of walking was so welcoming. The rooms were comfortable. The dining room had a nice ambience and delicious food options including gluten free options. I would definitely stay at Durrants again.

I ve been there a couple of times and everything was perfect, starting from the atmosfere, to the service and finally the food....I enjoyed the time spent there...I really suggest the Caldesi caffè...

Food was not as good as I expected for the price and the restaurant's pitching itself as luxury. They also do the "secretly charge you for bread and water without warning" trick which is unnecessarily underhand for a luxury restaurant. However, nice atmosphere, and the food is decent if you're there on a deal.

A solid high end French bistro which also creates modern British dishes (the crab lasagna is delicious).

My only 'warning' would be to avoid the Sunday lunches: the roast beef etc caters to the demands of locals, but ... it's just okay. Stick to the main menu.

Their bread is excellent.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, you could almost believe you are in the heart of Paris. The menu is more modern then true French, although if you like escargot, they are on the menu. The staff were friendly and informative. I've rated it 3 star because they clearly were out of sink with the kitchen and our mains came out before my dinner date had finished his first course and asked me if if would like mine served. So our meal felt rushed when it didn't need to be as they weren't completely full.

The food here is reasonable, but notably worse than La Chapelle - and not really any cheaper. In particular the deserts need some considerable work (in contrast with excellent starters). My advice would be to instead go to one of the better restaurants in the group and you will have a much better experience for hardly any extra £. It's a shame, but this place doesn't feel like value for money despite it's claims to be a low-key casual outfit.

Food was nice but the atmosphere and customer experience is shocking. The server doesn't change the cutlery after the starters and they are very rude. Lack of supply no garlic butter! The tables are tiny and it can't hold anything. They even ran out of desert spoons so they gave us teaspoons. All in all food is good.
