I had an exceptional 7-night stay at Cheval Harrington Court in South Kensington and couldn’t be happier with the experience.
Upon arrival, I was delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a larger 2-bedroom apartment, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home and made the stay even more comfortable and special.
The highlight of the trip was the thoughtful birthday surprise — returning to find cake and balloons waiting for me was such a lovely and unexpected gesture. It made my birthday feel genuinely celebrated and showed incredible attention to detail.
I would especially like to thank the amazing staff who made this stay unforgettable: Raymond, Florentina, Madalina, and Sumit. Each of them was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
The location is ideal — elegant, quiet, and just steps away from South Kensington station, museums, and great dining options.

I am regular traveler to London city and costumer with Cheval Chain Hotel and appartments ...
Recently I booked an apartment for more than 2 weeks but it was disappointing... There was fire alarm many times and disconnect of electricity and water supply for more than 12 hrs ... I was staying with sick mother and we were going up and down to 5th floor thru emergency stairs ... Also when I asked them to extend my stay earlier they provided it with higher rate ... Pretending that the property is full but during the alarm there was few people ... There was No gym No inroom dining not worth the money you spend compared to service you get...
It was the worst stay experience in London ... I wont repeat it with Cheval

Absolutely an amazing stay. These apartment hotels are just perfect. What they lack in common area amenities (no restaurant, no gym, no spa facilities, etc.), they more than make up by having nicely appointed rooms. The service is also excellent and prompt. We just loved every minute of our stay.

The room was quite good. However, during check-out, the front desk inexplicably tried to charge an 88-pound service fee. I found it quite unreasonable and refused to pay, after which they said it wasn't necessary. For an apartment costing over 3k a night, such arbitrary charges are unacceptable. One-star rating (out of five)!

We had an exceptional eight-night stay in a Superior One-Bedroom Apartment at this beautiful hotel, perfectly located near all essential services, restaurants, and cafés. The apartment featured two balconies overlooking the street, providing a wonderful setting to enjoy coffee, drinks, or even a light meal.
Inside, the apartment was fully equipped with all entertainment and cooking facilities, including a refrigerator, microwave, oven, washing machine, and ironing set, ensuring maximum comfort and convenience.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team—from the reception staff to the housekeeping crew—for their outstanding dedication and professionalism. I will certainly recommend this remarkable hotel to all my family and friends.

The only drawback is that the water is hard and the flow rate is extremely low.

The room was small. The main problem was that it had a locked secret door, so it was terrifying if someone lived next door. There was no soundproofing. When I stayed there, they kept rustling around in the middle of the night, disrupting my sleep and making it incredibly scary. After a few days, I asked to move to a street-facing room, but it was even noisier. London's streets are like wartime at night, with constant sounds of cars, people, and fire sirens. I didn't get much rest for several nights. The first few days, there was noise in the room, and the next few days, it was just street noise. It was a shame to pay several thousand yuan for the room, especially since there was no breakfast. I wouldn't stay there again and would rather stay at a reputable hotel. By the way, after reporting the noise in my room, the front desk even asked for a £65 tip, which I refused, so they dropped the matter. Something else to keep in mind. If you're going to stay in a room facing the street, absolutely avoid it; there's no sunlight and only noise.

Very nice staff and great food! I can with my son in a pram and they did the outmost to accommodate us. 5 stars definitly deserved and the food is very good, authentic and well priced for the quality you get.

Amazing food! Very tasty and authentic. Staff did struggle to keep up with the busy restaurant but the quality of food more than made up for it. Highly recommend the pizza and definitely have a look at the desserts!

Pizza are good but the staff who served us was slow, not welcoming and dismissive... we had to beg to get water, the dessert menu and the bill... They need to be far more caring and professionals.

Super yummy gnocchi and a dish with salmon and pasta!!! Omg delicious! Very peaceful ambiance and surroundings help or feel that way

Very busy restaurant with most tables appear to be occupied. Tapas served to table as and when ready. Food looked and tasted good. Waiting staff are kept on their feet and seem very keen to get orders quickly and happy to answer questions. Empty dishes were removed often so waiting staff were being observant and attentive. Worth a visit.

We stumbled across this place looking for a quick lunch after spending the morning at the museum. It was a really nice refreshing restuarant, with a great buzz. The tapas was amazing and the beer on tap was the perfect pairing for the food.
It's a little pricey but its a nice little treat, or a great place with a group of friends. Will definitly go back.
Only downside was the service was a little slow but if your not watching the clock, you might as well enjoy tapas the way its meant to be!

Casa Brindisa South Kensington is the second location of the traditional Spanish restaurant chain, located meters from South Kensington underground station on Exhibition Road. Tapas are the main dish, with plates such as cod, Catalan spinach, marmitako, chorizo a la sidra, and tortilla alongside daily specials and seasonal specials. The interior of the restaurant is rustic and laid out in a traditional order, offering twelve outside tables. Having visited on a Saturday evening the place was buzzing. The service was very good and attentive. The food was to standard although there octopus was fresh and served on a bed of mash potatoes. Recommended for those seeking a tasty bite around South Kensington. However there are better Spanish restaurants in London.

Had a delicious slow-roasted lamb shoulder dish with root vegetables. Very tender and flavorful. The restaurant has a tastefully rustic decor, which was enhanced by complementary Christmas decorations during my visit in December. Enjoyable visit.

Plesent place for a small group after work. Food was good, and the waitress was welcoming. The food was above average, and what I would expect in the Kensington area.

We waited an incredibly long time for food (over an hour between ordering and receiving food), and when it arrived, we were told they didn't have one of the meals we had ordered, so they replaced it without asking us for a preference. The replacement was not pleasant, overcooked and dry - definitely not freshly cooked. The one meal that we had ordered was really good though.
Service was very disjointed - the person who brought our food didn't seem to know that what he brought was different to what we ordered, then the next few people who came to the table all had a different story about what had happened... We just wanted a nice roast lunch - it was 17:30 by the time we got out!
