There was dust in the cupboard and a broken drawer with no front. And one of the two towels was dirty. Tv was quite a small one in the room this time. Other sane room types have bigger ones. Could be more consistent.

Lateish checkin but greeted with smiles and excellent service. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Rooms are really quiet. Definitely worth staying at this hotel especially if you are working or visiting this side of London. Very easy access to Liverpool Street station etc.

Absolutely perfect room. Perfect for solo or couple travellers. Got everything you need in a modern minimal room layout. Loved everything about my stay. Definitely recommend and will choose it again if ever needed.

Disappointed with the experience at this hotel. Moved rooms late at night. Noisy including staff arguing with customers in the hallway outside the room. Cleaning started noisily at 7am. Walls are like cardboard and rooms are tiny. No amenities other than a towel.

Booked 2 nights for my daughter and I. Requested a ground floor room because of her needs and was given an accessible room which made a huge, positive difference to our trip and being able to meet her needs whilst away. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Our room had air-conditioning which came in handy. The room was clean, but did find sporadic hairs that wasn't ours. We had a lovely stay and would use the hotel again

Such a lovely little hotel, we arrived a little early and our room was ready soon thereafter. We unfortunately didn’t get to spend much time there but we will be back!

Had our Christmas party there - was so much fun, split over 3 floors. The roof top terrace is brilliant, but wrap up warm if visiting in winter.

Cracking venue with a room to suit most tastes. Downstairs has the stage, host to Hip Hop Karaoke, one of the more fun nights out in London. On the roof there are food huts and in the winter a tent that retains enough heat to keep the roof fairly comfortable on cold nights. The cloak room can be a nightmare though, so if you can avoid using it, do so.

We experienced rude and incompetent door staff with ineffective communication skills. This is a shame because the rooftop is worth a visit - I'd advise the venue to consider the training and communication standards of their externally facing staff as they are the first people visitors will likely interact with and the impressions made will be lasting.
Looking at other reviews here detailing frequent disagreements with door staff and visitors, I'm not surprised - I'm sure that 90% of those could be resolved by hiring/training friendlier, more reasonable door staff. I understand that door staff can encounter aggressive people (the 10%) but it does not mean you should treat everyone like that. It has put me off visiting again.

I went here for Halloween. Was great. Didnt Q for long, fair prices inside and there were loads of attractive women. Would like to go back when they aren't all covered in blood and face paint.

We recently had a celebratory dinner for 12 in the private room, the food was exceptional and the staff were absolutely fantastic: competent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend L'Anima !!

One of the nicest restaurants I have visited in over 15 years in London. Really outstanding food, great menu and absolutely pleasant service. Decor was both timeless as well as beautiful. Would love to go again!

Unfortunately service between the dishes took extremely long. The noise (of other guests) in the restaurant was immense and made it very difficult to speak with the people next to you. The food quality was quite good. The price to be paid was extremely high. Mixed feelings...

Nice to visit.
The box park is full of tourists looking around the metal shipping containers, which have been refurbished into nice shop units.
Had a pint on the rooftop but it was expensive, and it was very average.
Pleasant place in a very trendy location, but you'll only visit once.

My go to place when in Shoreditch! Awesome food and something for everyone!
Would recommend a visit to What a Pitta for a vegan kebab fix! (tastes much better than it reads).
Always a good vibe even when it's quiet.

Great place to meet friends or kill a lunch hour. Good variety of restaurants including a great vegan place. Been to a few different promotional events either at a pop up shop or a food place and always had a great time. Some fun outdoor seating spaces for summer.

The idea of a box park sounded really interesting but I felt that this place is a bit overrated. lots of small eateries where you can buy your food and eat in the common area. Overall the vibe is good but it can do better if the vacant shops get occupied so it can provide greater choices of eateries and shops. It should be a great place for starts ups or small businesses to get themselves established.

Tends to be full of a younger crowd - median age around 20 so don’t expect anything fancy. People tend to go there to drink in Shoreditch for the ‘cool’ factor. Food is so so, their stalls change every year and this year isn’t very good - great vegan cafe and good chicken but otherwise all fad food such as bubble waffles and falafel stands. Drink prices not worth it for the amount of noise this place has. Basically good for friends but not for dates.
