While the hotel might need some upgrades to their wi-fi, we enjoyed our stay. The staff, in particular, Adrian, was exceptional. We needed ice daily(!) and he made it happen. Everyone else, from the other reception folks, to the kitchen to the cleaning staff made our stay lovely. There is currently loud construction (NOT the hotel’s fault) but we were gone during the day so it didn’t really impact us. Lots of activity with The Anchor Bar nearby and many restaurants as well. All in all a great stay for 8 nights!!

Stayed here several times now and always a great experience. Staff always helpful, room is clean and considering the location its always nice and quiet. I will be up to London again soon and wont stay anywhere else for my flying visits

Great location right next to Borough Market and the Thames. This being said, the room was very quiet and extremely comfortable - especially the bed! The staff were lovely and we had one of the best breakfasts in such a long time! We'll definitely be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My teenage daughter and I had a superb stay at Southbank Premier Inn. The rooms were clean and comfy, quiet at night and blackout curtains kept it cosy for sleeping. The staff were very friendly, upbeat and kind and the Manager is a very inspiring and lovely woman. The usual quality we expect from P.I, but with added personality and charm! 100% recommend this hotel, and we will definitely be back. Location is perfect for exploring this part of historical London.

Excellent Location, easy to get around on underground. Plenty of eateries close by. A must is a visit to 'the Clink' museum a few steps away. Excellent standard of rooms, cleanliness and value for money (especially London). Excellent service and staff - particularly Rosa, who was most helpfull and a shining light to start the day. Breakfast was plentifull, well cooked and value for the money. Would highly recommend this premier inn for the above, which made our week very enjoyable. Building work going on next to the building but as we were out all day it did not impact on our enjoyment.

The location is exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Tim was on hand to ensure all aspects of our stay were attended to. Comfortable bedroom and an excellent breakfast. A very happy stay

Lovely hotel, in a beautiful location. On arrival the lovely lady managed to check us in early, and rushed the room ready which I appreciated massively with 3 children. A lovely little token they were doing was handing our daffodils to women I think for women's day I believe, but unfortunately I wasn't given one ( im 29 with 3 children) 🤣 maybe I look too young 🤣 We was unfortunately checked into the wrong room because by the time I'd unpacked and realised they was no bedding on the children's beds ect the new member off staff that came on shift ( lovely guy) realised our room was actually next door already made up. I wasn't overly fussed and I only had to make a few beds up. He apologised and offered to help us move bags ect He refunded our buffet breakfast which I appreciated massively as a sorry token. He was very helpful in showing me what taxi service to use, where to eat and where not to eat ect I would 100000% return and do wish too do so in the near future as I loved everything about it. One negative was how warm the room was, the windows filled with condensation if they wasn't left cracked open but I usually leave the windows open anyway, just can't at night with young children.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms and public spaces were super clean. Beds were comfortable and breakfast tasty and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Magnificent location, easy to get anywhere, walks along the Thames and into West End are wonderful. Surrounded by countless restaurants, pubs and cafes. Always very friendly staff. All rooms have a bath (with shower over) which is a bonus. Only drawbacks are deliveries to the neighbouring historic pub can be noisy in early hours, and Wifi is not great. We've stayed in most of the London Premiere Inns, and this is our favourite.

Welcoming place where you definitely get a good selection of wine, amazing food with great taste and presentation. And some inventive touches on your plate. The majority of the staff was friendly but a few couldn't get a smile on their lips. We were with a large group of 21 but they managed to serve us more or less at the same time.

My husband brought me a surprise weekend treat to the Shard and dinner in Roast. We arrived and all was well and the waiter seemed very attentive. I ordered the 48 day burger but I did not fancy a Yorkshire pudding with it so I requested fries. The burger came with gravy which was weird but the 48-Day dry aged sirloin of beef was so thin and grisly and the bun was so dry I could not understand how the cost of it could be justified. My husband’s scallops were fine but the beef wellington was so rare the meat was cold and bloody see picture also the pastry was doughy not crisp and light as should be. Finally the waiter gave the bill to me! As it was a special occasion and the restaurant was quite full we did not complain at the table as I personally do not like to make a fuss and also I don’t like to upset other dinners.

The Chablis and the setting was lovely.

I can’t express how upset I / we were as the experience tainted our evening.

It’s one of the best restaurants in borough market.
The food is delicious and the service was great.
We had oysters for starter , it was so fresh.
We had grilled steak, roast beef and sea bass for main course and they all tasted delicious.
And the great finale was the cherry crumble, sticky dates pudding and winter plum pudding.

I work for a 5 star hotel and I rate experience and interaction with staff with a high expectation.
The 3 on rating was due to the reason that the look the hostess gave us upon our arrival and my partner interaction as he was looking for our friends who was waiting at the bar was of snobbish attitude. This is mainly due to our clothing.

We were out all day sight seeing and didn't have time to go home to change so we were jeans and nice long sleeve t-shirt.

Solid 4 star for the food, esp for London. Flavor was good and nice presentation. Order fish and chips just to give it a try. Fish was not fishy with just enough light batter. The chips/fried potato was perfect.

The service was great from our waiter, and wine recommendation was good.

Nice little restaurant with good service and nice food

Very bad first impression, we felt “forced” to take a seat and order something. We had our own drinks with us and when they saw that they would take them from us. The food wasn’t that bad, but when the check came we were amazed. They charged us 12.5% of the total price, normally we would give a large tip but they really forced it so we were really upset. 1 out of 5 stars

My work colleagues and I go here on a regular basis and absolutely love it. Amazing food, excellent service and I would recommend it to all! We've been for both lunch and dinner and cannot fault the food! Brilliant!
