Good location, very nice staff - Stella at the front desk was just lovely! As with any hotel in Europe at a lower cost (my room was 237 pounds for one night) it was incredibly small, but quite comfortable for sleeping which was all I really needed as I was adventuring around the city otherwise. And I was elated to have working air conditioning! I took a star off on the rooms only because there were spare hairs in the shower upon arrival that were definitely not mine and I question how well a room is cleaned when I see that.

Some rooms have stairs at the entrance that makes it inconvenient to carry large luggage. Provision of refrigerator is desirable.

Had a great stay here. Hotel is in a great location, staff are lovely and the room was really nice. It was small but exactly what we needed. I couldn't find anything to complain about. The bed was very comfortable. I'd stay here again in an instant

The rooms are very shabby. Breakfasts are quite poor and the same every day. The location is excellent. Service is also good.

This is my second stay this year at this hotel and it’s lovely however when I came in January with my husband our room was lovely it had a fridge and everything and was quite large but this time I stayed with my daughter a twin room it was much smaller and no fridge and was more

Room was ok, clean and bright, only downside was the bathroom, it was a tight squeeze for my daughter as she is 6 ft and it had wall that jutted out by about a foot so very tight to wash her hair in the shower.

The price paid does not reflect the hotel. The hotel is run down and our room smelt very damp. At breakfast nothing was explained to us and no Tea readily available. Everyone was friendly enough and our room was ready 2hours early - Bonus! The location is right next to Hyde Park and very convenient for Paddington Station. I would stay again if the price was cheaper!

We visited on the 4th July for one night only, our experience was very unsatisfactory.
We had a twin room (263) on the ground floor, the room was small, very dated and in desperate need of renovation. The toilet door would not close, the sink plug hole leaked and the room lacked cleanliness.
The breakfast again was disappointing, poor quality food, more suitable for a pig trough.

Did not meet my expectation especially with the value I paid for 3nights! Even the staff was supportive to help me finding proper room, but it seems it was a wrong decission of me from beginning.

Spotless and comfortable. Great location. Quiet. And no frills.
I was shocked walking in my room seeing how basic it was but when I woke up after my first night I had decided I LOVED this place.
The bed was perfect after a long day...the staff is so nice and knowledgeable...the breakfast is perfect (cold cuts, breads, cereals...amazingly tasty and great to begin a day with.)
I would recommend this hotel and would book a stay on my own again.
