The hotel is clean and conveniently located, but the breakfast experience was disappointing. I had to wait a long time, received the wrong order, and couldn’t find staff to fix the issue.

After a 17-hour flight, the check-in experience was extremely disappointing and created unnecessary stress for my family. My wife and young son were refused check-in despite presenting my passport while I was only minutes away. I understand verification procedures, but the way this was handled lacked flexibility and basic hospitality.

Additionally, the hotel required a physical credit card and refused to accept digital payment methods such as Apple Pay. I have traveled extensively — 13 countries in the past seven months and more than 40 countries overall — and have never encountered such rigid and outdated policies. This created avoidable inconvenience and frustration.
When I requested to see the terms and conditions supporting these requirements, the response from management was dismissive rather than solution-oriented. The overall tone and attitude at the front desk were far from what one would expect from a property positioned at this level.

Because the stay started in such a negative way, it significantly impacted the overall experience. First impressions matter, especially after long international travel.

Time by time SLS disappointed! Stayed from August 6–24, extending multiple times and spending generously at the pool and restaurants. Housekeeping and pool staff are excellent, but reception is unprofessional, rude, and repeatedly locked me out of my room. Even basic courtesy was denied—like refusing me access to the lobby restroom while allowing others. For a hotel of this level, management is clearly failing. SLS needs new leadership.

The hotel is generally in line with expectations. Well, it is a local internet celebrity hotel. The service is average in all aspects. The facilities are also relatively old.

We came for my sisters birthday because she wanted to try this place . We only enjoyed maybe a handful of the items that we ordered and we ordered quite a few dishes.

Taste wise things were a hit or miss and our waitress was not very friendly or attentive at all. I've been here where it was more busy and the service was much better. To me it just seems like the quality has gone down and for the price it's doesn't seem worth it if we are not going to enjoy it. So we probably won't be returning again.

Food is good, service average. One waiter split drinks onto the table, another tried to clean up and made more of a mess than anything and walked away. Had to ask yet another waiter to clean up.
The desert area is awkward, not sure if I'm in a jewelry shop,book store, antiques shop or patisserie.
Some people arrived for dinner dressed for fine dining, others like going to a burger joint with kids.
I'm still confused by what this experience was supposed to be.

The Philippe Starck interior is dramatic and interesting. The food is very artistic and many menu items feature some molecular gastronomy magic to delight. The food values artistic and creative presentation a bit over the actual taste. But quite an experience. Great place for a celebration. And for dessert they whisk you off to a fabulous shop of sweets next door...

My autistic friend Paul was enjoying his first ever experience in Beverly Hills and was peacefully drinking his cocktail at the bar. Suddenly, two men dressed in suits who claimed to be security (never showed any identification) told him that they do not allow "his kind" to be in the establishment. I was taken back. When asked what they meant by this comment, they responded that "We have an image that we have to maintain, you understand". At this moment I was speechless, we didn't know what to do other that leave. Paul left crying because he didn't know what he did wrong. His experience in Beverly Hills was ruined, all because his handicap inconvenienced some people.

I have been to a number of locations of this chain and they have all been wonderful. If you have never been a Fogo de Chao, it's worth the money. The market salad bar they have is second to none, but the real star attraction is the all you can eat meats. They have about 14+ varieties of meats that they bring around and carve right off the spit in front of you. They will also bring you a new piece of meat if the piece they have is not done to the temperature you like. The drinks and deserts are also delicious and inventive. This location also has an exquisite and extensive wine collection.

We got their one hour early for our 3rd year Thanksgiving dinner. We were told there was no reservation. Thank got my brother-in-law had his confirmation email on his cell phone and showed it to the receptionist. Otherwise we probably would not have been seated . The service was poor. Had to raise our hand to get the waiters and server's attention for ice water refills and meets. My husband who never complains about anything stated it was the worst service ever and he would like to never return. My sister chose this place over the last 3 years so we would not have to cook. In the past the service has been much better.. The floor manager, female, had a poor attitude, unprofessional for the entire evening as if she was mad at her staff or us. They needed more help, professionalism , and learn that they are in the customer service, serving business. They all need to get additional training in customer service, and culturally sensitivity.

Very good sushi in a simple, low key, atmosphere with both indoor and patio seating. Met the chef-owner; she visited all the tables at the end of the night to say hello and ask about the dining experience. Their chicken teriyaki was also very good.
