City Center Hotel in Los Angeles

Very low standard, a whole in the door plugged with a tissue, kinda grose bathroom. Room still not cleaned upon check-in. Full of things from the previous guest (unmade bed, bottles etc.). I was afraid that I was checked into an already occupied room and I was afraid to leave my personal belongings there. Two advantages - proximity to downtown and appearance in the movie "The Accountant 2" ;)

The bed was broken, we were literally falling off from bed edge as the bed was inclined on one side due to it being in broken state.
The carpet was stinking and dirty, we all had runny nose due to allergens and dirt from carpet, and was hard to breathe.
There was no working light in the room, had to rely on bathroom/entrance light.
The place was very noisy even at night, with homeless people and junkies loitering around the hotel and making noises.
The hotel or the rooms are nowhere near what they describe or show in the photos.

A one star is being kind this was the worst place ever. Came here for one night as there was a concert at a venue right across the street. the room had a smell to it along with the carpet having stains everywhere and holes every where. The bathroom had one light bulb in there out of three. The shower was dirty. The comforter had holes all over it along with the mattress. There was a hole in the wall. The room would not stay warm because there was a big crack on the bottom of the door that was letting cold air in.I had to leave a few hours after check in for a family emergency and when they checked out they were treated not so nice and when asked for a refund and or a partial refund I was told no the only way is if there is something wrong with the room but by that time I still didn’t get a refund. Needless to say I had to wash everything I had there right away due to bed bugs because I got bit by something in that awful room.

I went with my dad here for a trip. not great. the first room we got had stains on the pillow and in the bathroom there was a hole in the wall. we got a new room and there were stains on the ground and no shower curtain. my dad called the hotel an "old school hotel". also this area is a tiny bit shady. the shower is weak and idk if this might be bad to you or not but the shampoo came in packets. but I can live in it and my xbox 360 hooked up to the tv so that was nice. I was able to smell, and no smell. air conditioning is good.
