Hotel is good and the service is great. However note that the water pressure is quite weak and very hard to control the water temperature (not sure if this is just a US thing). Also, our AC unit made some loud noises so we decided to keep it off, it’s no issue since SF weather is very comfortable anyways.

I was quite disappointed with my stay, especially considering the price paid. The air conditioning was extremely loud; every 15 minutes there would be a disruptive noise that made it difficult to rest properly throughout the night.
Additionally, the TV was not functioning at all, which is a very basic amenity one would expect from any hotel.
The room assignment was also far from ideal. I was given a room on Level 2 with a view facing the interior of the hotel, directly towards a staircase and pantry area. There was constant foot traffic, which significantly reduced privacy and made the stay feel uncomfortable.
Service was also lacking. When I requested for a kettle, it was provided, but without any cups. When I had to call again to request for cups, the staff who came up appeared visibly annoyed, which made the interaction quite unpleasant.
Only pro is the location near Fisherman Wharf, otherwise will not be reccomend. Room size and cleanliness was also decent.

location was good, check in was easy. however, i think it would be better if basic amenities like room slippers and toothbrushes/toothpaste were provided. the air conditioning was noisy though

The hotel itself is highly recommended. It has a great location, very nice rooms and very friendly service.
However, we also had some hiccups during our visit. We had booked the room for four people, but the room was only equipped with towels for three people. Not that much of an issue - we just asked every day for an additional towel.
We booked an Alcatraz Bundle via the concierge, which all went well. However, the charge included a $15 consumption voucher per person at the hotel bar, which was a bit difficult to redeem. You had to try to get the exact amount, as it was not possible to receive a credit for any change left. It was also not possible to pay on top of the voucher. We were told that the voucher could be used like cash but it wasn't quite like that after all. So perhaps this is not necessarily recommended.
We also booked bicycles with the concierge, which worked very well. However, my kids really liked the evening cookies and milk and the games room.

The room is spacious and clean. The location is so convenient that is several minutes walk to the fisherman wharf.

We had a great nights sleep. The mattress was very comfortable. If you are a light sleeper, then you may have a hard time sleeping since the walls seem to be thin and the windows are not double pane. We could hear people waiting for public transportation just outside of our window and people with children in the room next to us and in the hallway. We had fun playing foosball. Since we had such a short day, we didn’t have time to use the gym or use the pool tables.

Excellent service. The plates could be better. The juices are not natural. It is situated in a tourist place, where people from all over the world visit, so they could improve on some special dishes with shrimp, making something special and different.

What an amazing place to eat! We were seated very quickly, the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. My only regret is that I had the mussels, because they raised my expectations so high, I will never be satisfied with just any dish with mussels again. My boyfriend loved the chicken and fries, and the 7 year old loved the clam chowder, and sourdough.

Dinner was delicious! Wonderful Italian inspired seafood. Dessert left something to be desired. Not special. But atmosphere was delightful and romantic. Very decent wine list. All in all a great dining experience

The crab and salmon were both fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. The fried green beans were quite good. The view was nice, too. Also, good bread. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely go again!

We had a wonderful meal!! I will have the swordfish stuffed with crab again.. And wonderful sourdough bread!! And like 60 degree weather. Such a great night in San Francisco. Look forward to more baby, Edward Hudgens

Top of the line crab! My bother and I shared the "lots of crab" for two and it was very very good! Everyone in my group really liked what they ordered. The service was good, but not great. The prices seem fair. I would give it 4.3 but Google only allows 4 or 5.

Went for a cocktail and appetizers to take a break from walking. It is right on the water, and has a great view. The cocktails were delicious, and the oysters we had were fresh. Everything was way overpriced, as are most places in San Francisco. We spent $75 for 4 drinks and 6 oysters, not including tip.

A little pricey but the view is great and the food very good. No one should be shocked at the price of food here its in tourist trap and has probably one of the best views around. The shrimp cocktail was better then I would have expected I would recommend if you like that as an appetizer. If you like unsweet tea then don't get it here it has to come from a tap it has a slightly off taste to it.

Very nice venue, great service limited menu, expensive, appetizers & entree for two $103. Coffee was $10!! Food was good, not great. I probably would not recommend because we were disappointed and won't be returning

The cocktail sauce had too much ketchup. No shrimp entree on menu. Crab Alfredo was boring & tasteless. Crab Enchiladas drowning in red sauce that wasn't Mexican, raw tortillas. Yep, not going back.

The service here was a little slow to start with but the food was delicious we had shrimp cocktail garlic clams, and a garlic parsley halibut dish that was very good. the kids fish was perfect. The drinks were stiff and the staff was polite. The views of the Bay and along the pier are top notch.
