The heater wasn't working properly so we asked for help and was told it was automatic, but the room was still cold. On the second day we asked for the heater to be turned on, but it only lasted a few minutes, so we asked them for an electric heater.

The location is really good. The hotel facilities are relatively old, and the sanitary conditions are OK. Overall, it's average.

The location of the hotel is indeed convenient. There is basically no service in the hotel, the facilities are very old, and the hygiene is okay.

Gave us a late check-in n breezed through to our rooms. The rooms are clean. Bottled water would have been good as there’s no kettle arriving late and cold.

THERE'S TRADER JOES UP THE STREET AND AROUND THE CORNER. WALKING DISTANCE TO UNION SQUARE AND PASS BY STARBUCKS OR MCDONALD'S FOR FRAPPE.

Stayed there for a night … very close to union square… the room was ok .. no view from the window.. not sure if it had heating facility … They take 250$ as deposit on card.. which is insane as I stayed just for one night and blocking 250$ just as deposit is unheard of. The room as basic and good for a night stay

Hotel without great pretensions that perfectly meets the needs of visiting San Francisco with a large community and is very well located.
As number 1 it is in an area that is not homeless (at least in the surrounding streets)
Old but with comfortable rooms and private bathroom.
It smells strange since it has carpets throughout the hotel.
In the room you will find TV, towels, cleaning supplies, refrigerator, etc.
If you do not have great pretensions and want a reasonably clean place, with a private bathroom and very well located, it is perfect for a few days.
They ask for a deposit of 250 at the entrance that in theory they return to you after 10 days (pre-authorization on the card))
They let you leave your bags at reception once you check in.

Absolutely crazy $250 deposit (which was returned in full a week later). Bit of a bad smell. Quite noisy. Overall though it’s okay for the price.

Absolutely fabulous food, atmosphere and service. Mind you, the prices may seem high, but you get what you paid for. Great for large parties since servings are family style. I had to finalize the menu in advance, but you can customize it and even chose the title on the menu for the gathering.

The restaurant is off an alley, which is hard to spot. The Le Colonial neon sign points the way. Outs an unassuming entrance, but once you get inside, it's marvelous. Looks to be an old Victorian how converted into a restaurant.
The food was great too. I wasn't wowed by their spring rolls, but the Pot An Pho was absolutely incredible.

Ok. Maybe my review is a little harsh. Normally I don't deduct for poor service. But they got my friends order completely wrong. As in wrong item. No offer of discounting barely an apology. We had a show to make so no chance of getting the right item. We requested another table but were told they had a reservation for the other table. It sat empty the entire time we were there.
Food would have been 4 star. Nothing spectacular. More upscale than most but flavors kind of flat.
I'd skip. Many other better choices in the area.

Came here for a team dinner with my company. Michelle made it easy to organize and order for everyone, while be conscious of dietary restrictions. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong and tasty! Be aware: they have a dress code here!

Excellent location. Atmosphere definitely resembles old French colonial buildings in Saigon. Food was very good. Had the oxtail bowl. Bone marrow with mushrooms was amazing. Highly recommend for intimate evening.

Dinner was great. Came back the next day for Wednesday pork chop special and told by new manager that had to wait an hour for menu to be available. At 3.30pm At the same time she went ahead with her staff and seated a couple that came after us. When asked why they said oh sorry and too bad for you and everyone else that was waiting to spend money have to wait til 4.30. She said she was new and unable to handle the job.
Wow. Never will go to daily grill again. Spent 300 first night in town. I have never written a review but because it popped up on my phone this is the first and it had to be bad. Daily grill is scratched from my list.

Came in at 11:00 am, we sat at the bar thinking faster service. We were told the kitchen is switching from breakfast to lunch, had to wait 10 minutes before they could make food. 45 minutes later we received our lunch. There was a bartender switch after our order was placed, and it was a shame, the bartender that came in had no care for his customers, stress on his face with every request. A couple came in and waited 20 minutes to even get a greeting...poor service.

Best option for good food on Union Square. We have been there for 3 times last 2 days. Breakfast and dinner. Service is good and food is delicious.

Had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner here with my wife. The place was packed but the food was still amazing and the server was very attentive and helpful. We loved it!

This place! I am VERY picky when it comes to good food. Not only was our food AMAZING but our server Peni was the BEST! We cannot wait to come back from Seattle!

This place was almost completely empty when I entered for breakfast, and that made me question my decision to eat there. I had the eggs benedict, and they were delicious though on the high-priced side. I did not like the chairs that they used at the dining tables semicolon not having a back on a stool makes it very uncomfortable.

My wife and I had breakfast there. Staff were attentive and courteous. Breakfast was great. Open floor plan and natural lighting adds for a nice atmosphere. The big plus was that the music was mostly 70's top 40 and the volume was subdued.

The service is so BAD here. The food is alright. The drinks are decent, but the service is sad. The food is over priced for what you get, expect to wait a long time for your food to arrive once you order. I don’t recommend this place ? This place is covfefe.

We were served pretty quickly, but the food took 45 minutes to get to us. People who arrived later than us got served first too. Check out the Eggs Benedict... or rather, the sad attempt at it.
