Great location and have a character but poor amenities and needs to upgrade the continental breakfast to have more protein aside from just boiled eggs

I would recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking for a place located in the Union Square area. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel was in a great location. Close to various public transportation stops, shops, and restaurants. The hotel is located really close to Chinatown.

Very nice, clean and friendly hotel. In the best location possible. Front desk was very helpful and wonderful. Free coffee and water. Room is spacious and clean. Highly recommend!

This is the best small hotel in Union Square. It's affordable, the rooms are very nice—especially the bathrooms—and it's a friendly and cozy environment. Staff is super nice too. Just don't expect a bar or a social scene or a pool or fancy amenities. You get a great room though!

The hotel is located in downtown, from San Francisco International Airport, we took BART and got off from Powell Street BART station, walk less than 10 minutes to the hotel. The hotel front desk is very small, but the staff is always friendly . The room is spacious and tidy, bed is comfortable. We could not hear much noise from outside. The breakfast area is super small, only have 2 seats there , only grab the simple breakfast and go. Overall experience is great.

So, I just have to say that you just can't beat the customer service you'll get at The Inn at Union Square. They are all friendly and beyond accommodating. The Inn is clean and perfect for what I was looking for. It's in a great location and it really doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms and staff really make up for it. I really appreciate the word class service they provided. Thanks team!

Boutique hotel but mighty, good location in the city for walk. The place is very quiet at night to enjoy a good comfortable sleep. Highly recommended.

Dinner was great. Came back the next day for Wednesday pork chop special and told by new manager that had to wait an hour for menu to be available. At 3.30pm At the same time she went ahead with her staff and seated a couple that came after us. When asked why they said oh sorry and too bad for you and everyone else that was waiting to spend money have to wait til 4.30. She said she was new and unable to handle the job.
Wow. Never will go to daily grill again. Spent 300 first night in town. I have never written a review but because it popped up on my phone this is the first and it had to be bad. Daily grill is scratched from my list.

Came in at 11:00 am, we sat at the bar thinking faster service. We were told the kitchen is switching from breakfast to lunch, had to wait 10 minutes before they could make food. 45 minutes later we received our lunch. There was a bartender switch after our order was placed, and it was a shame, the bartender that came in had no care for his customers, stress on his face with every request. A couple came in and waited 20 minutes to even get a greeting...poor service.

Best option for good food on Union Square. We have been there for 3 times last 2 days. Breakfast and dinner. Service is good and food is delicious.

Had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner here with my wife. The place was packed but the food was still amazing and the server was very attentive and helpful. We loved it!

This place! I am VERY picky when it comes to good food. Not only was our food AMAZING but our server Peni was the BEST! We cannot wait to come back from Seattle!

This place was almost completely empty when I entered for breakfast, and that made me question my decision to eat there. I had the eggs benedict, and they were delicious though on the high-priced side. I did not like the chairs that they used at the dining tables semicolon not having a back on a stool makes it very uncomfortable.

My wife and I had breakfast there. Staff were attentive and courteous. Breakfast was great. Open floor plan and natural lighting adds for a nice atmosphere. The big plus was that the music was mostly 70's top 40 and the volume was subdued.

The service is so BAD here. The food is alright. The drinks are decent, but the service is sad. The food is over priced for what you get, expect to wait a long time for your food to arrive once you order. I don’t recommend this place ? This place is covfefe.

We were served pretty quickly, but the food took 45 minutes to get to us. People who arrived later than us got served first too. Check out the Eggs Benedict... or rather, the sad attempt at it.
