Kimpton SHOREBREAK FORT LAUDERDALE by IHG in Fort Lauderdale

We stayed one night at Kimpton Shorebreak and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately welcome: the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with clear explanations of the facilities.

Beautiful experience

First of all, I want to state that there is absolutely no racial discrimination. However, when I checked in at 3 a.m. after flying for more than ten hours, I walked into the store and asked the only black clerk, "Hi, where is the reception?" The other party actually replied to me, "I’m the only one here, are you blind?" I was shocked. I have been to so many countries, and this is the first time I feel the "hospitality" of the people of Florida. Although the clerk apologized to me in the end and complained that he was always scheduled to work late and couldn’t go back to be with his children, so he was in a bad mood (he talked to me for a long time), but the first impression still refreshed my three views, and I finally gave a tip. However, the other employees are not bad, most of them are minorities, and the transportation is also very convenient. In short, it is a very "strange" stay experience

I booked a small room, but the space felt good and not small, clean and sanitary, warm service, comfortable and cozy hotel environment, close to the beach, convenient for travel. I will choose to stay next time. Very good!

Amazing location, the staff were incredibly kind and considerate, rooftop pool was amazing - had dj and great food/ drinks. Not a huge hotel so easy to get around quickly. Lovely place to do yoga in am and unlimited bottle water in gym - 1 block from beach - would definitely go back and recommend to other

Nice hotel with a boutique vibe. Fantastic location within a few minutes walking distance to the beach. Had a ground floor room, no view and noisy due to other guests walking by and talking loud late at night. Would stay again if I needed a pre-cruise hotel. Rooftop pool was a nice surprise.

I took my daughter on a mother daughter trip. We stayed only 1 night. The hotel staff went above and beyond. They were so incredibly helpful! They allowed us to check in early the day we arrived and even allowed a late checkout the following day! They were so helpful getting the free bike rental, even brought a toothbrush to my room when I realized I had forgotten mine. Amazing staff.
This hotel was cute, very close to the beach and not to far to get to shops. We didn't have a carso we walked or rode bikes everywhere. It's an older hotel, the floors have not been updat, but the beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed the property. A lit of amenities. Nice quaint boutique! Ariel did an amazing job teaching yoga on Saturday! It was 4 of us a little tight but of course we made it work!
