We arrived to be denied parking because they do not accomodate large vehicles. I would not consider a 1/2 ton GMC truck a large vehicle. This would mean that full size SUVs, vans, etc may not get parking due to size. Call ahead or take a real chance on spending YOUR time working to find parking and then having to uber back and forth to your vehicle. They will be happy to point in the direction of possible parking but other than that an apology and an "it is on our website" response is all the help you can expect. They suggested two options which they absolutely knew would not be available due to the boat show. At that point they were convinced that they had gone above and beyone to assist us by suggesting two offsite parking areas that everybody in town new had been sold out for months. But they apologized and I am sure they will again in repsonse to this review. This hotel should be an embarassment to the Hilton Brand. But hey... they apologize.

We loved our stay and will definitely return. The hotel staff were terrific, helpful and friendly. The beach was great with towels, loungers and cool water. Many lively spots in walking distance. Higher end spots were just a short drive away.

Our Bellhop Sean was AWESOME. We checked in and a few hours later a group of girls checked in next to us. They were girls being girls, so loud giggling, yelling, typical. I called down to the desk to see if we could move rooms, as I didnt want to ruin thier goodtime and was told absolutly. We left to go to grab food and the desk asked if they would like them to move our stuff, we said sure and Sean was on it, everything moved and set up by the time we got back! He was a great source of information about the surronding area as well. Beds were very soft, room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was good as well. It will be out\r go to Hotel in FLL for the future. Check it out, you will not be disappointed! If Hotel Maren reads this, Tell Sean he was AWESOME and earned lifetime guests!

The environment was great, we all loved it. It's close to the beach and has a large children's play area, which the kids loved to play on. After dinner, you can take a walk along the beach. The hotel was quite clean; since it's relatively new and the facilities are good, there weren't any problems. I thought it was great, and the staff were very attentive and helpful.

This was our second stay at this hotel and once again it was fabulous! The ocean view from our 12 floor room was awesome! The rooms are spacious and very clean! The staff was very helpful and courteous. Easy access to the beach across the street with complimentary chairs and towels. The pool is great and heated! We will definitely be back!

This is a very nice hotel! The rooms are nice and spacious, the pool is great with a nice view of the ocean. The staff at the lobby desk is also very nice! The restaurant is great and so is the bar at the pool!

We stayed at Hotel Maren following a cruise, and it was a 5 star experience all around! Staff (Sean in particular) were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is perfect with shops, restaurants, and the beach all close by. Quiet and squeaky clean too!

Having my last cocktail at the hotel bar before leaving for the airport and truly sad to go, for many reasons but I did throughly enjoy my experience at this hotel. May be the best experience I’ve had in years. Pictures online are slightly better than what you get, but when is that not the case? Reasonably priced in my opinion because the location is perfect and the staff were great!!! The room was very nice with the balcony and view overlooking the ocean and overall just a very relaxing aesthetic. Solo trip for me and I could have not left my room all week and been perfectly happy. If I return to Fort Lauderdale and I plan to, I will definitely be coming back.

The hotel was great. The staff was friendly and for the first time I felt like the resort fee was worth it. If you are going to be staying here for any significant amount of time and plan on going to the beach I would suggest getting an umbrella. It is a $25 beach rental and can add up over time. The breakfast at this hotel is also a bad joke. We ate the day we arrived and paid $15 for an egg sandwich. It comes with a hamburger bun, a fried egg, a mozzarella ball and a sausage patty. That's it! No fries for breakfast or nothing. The coffee also tasted like vending machine coffee and at $6 was disappointing. The drink tickets were good but I would suggest adding some of the specialty wines to the list. Overall the room was nice and clean. The location is great the lobby staff were exceptional and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and skip the food.

We had a couple of breakfasts here. They serve a side salad with your omelette which was nice. Food does not come out fast but it was very good. Warning: they add the gratuity to your bill so don't pay double like we did. They do not tell you. We found most places on the strip did this so be aware.

Over the past four years it has expanded and keeps getting better. Lots of outdoor seating and always a good swell of people here make it a perfect vantage point. Enjoyed the coffee and breakfast.

Only come if you are willing to wait 45 min for a mediocre meal (and spend $12). I’ve had better hotel breakfasts than this. Waiters are rude and unwilling to check on your food. Have fun making us tip you.

You go here for the view. And luckily the food is decent and affordable too. Sometimes food is hit or miss, but the whole Ambiance eating breakfast on the beach makes it worth it. Service is moderately quick. The servers are usually very good-looking fyi.

This place went downhill. Mainly the service. The hostess didn't smile, the appetizers and main course all came out at the same time. Our waiter was very nice though. The food was just average. We were here last year and it was much better.

Food was some of the best I tried in Florida. Great surf & turf it was very flavorsome and fresh. Pity about the featured cocktail the fresh mango and kiwi fruit! The only taste of Fruit was a sweet lemon syrup. Although sweet it left a sour taste to what could have a great experience.

If you love shrimp, eat here! Food was excellent; fresh and tasty. I was even impressed by how flavorful they were able to make the tilapia. One big problem were the pigeons. They were attracted by food dropped by previous customers, but no one came to clean it up the entire hour we were there. Many waiters just walked right by.

We came in as a party of seven. We sat at the bar. Service bartender, Kristin, and Heather were very pleasant. Drinks were good. Tartar sauce was my only dislike... but in their defense, I like sweet tartar sauce. Crab legs are well seasoned. I would revisit.

Tried to go to Coconuts but it was too busy so we sat at G&B Oyster Bar, which is owned by the same person. Well we were in luck because we were able to order from the Coconut menu. The food was delicious and I can see why everyone raves about coconut. Of course we also ordered Oysters. This was my first time trying an oyster and i liked it.

In town to celebrate my anniversary so G&B was close and wanted to try it. The worst food I ever tasted!!! Being from Louisiana it's all about the taste. Florida is expensive already then I pay 101 for two people and 10 to park. One drink two beers spinach artichoke 5 oyster rockafella steak and snapper catch of the day and all of it nasty even the lemonade I drank. Need better cooks or close this place down!!! Don't mind paying for good food, this place will never get my money if I come back to visit again. Also they have a sign saying air condition, but it was hot and the doors were open, really!! Money wasted!!! Beware visitor's!

Great delicious variety of oysters (how can these other places only offer 1 type??). Super nice and friendly staff. Loved it. Fresh seafood paella on Tuesdays and Fridays!

Fresh! I am tired of eating salty fried food. This place is phenomenal. The staff if top notch and so is the manager. Even the fritters tasted delicious and without that deep fried taste. High, highly recommend!!

Would recommend to anyone going to the FT. Lauderdale area. Accommodations for both a restaurant and bar/pub area with similar but different menus for each side. Great selection on wine and spirits. There were families, what looked like a work event, and couples close by where we sat in the pub/bar area. Great outdoor feel and would love to go back some day!

My blackened Maui Maui was cooked very well. My sliced tomatoes were a bit mushy. The grilled wings were very tasty but the crab claw appetizer was a bit too garlic buttery for my taste. With nice weather you can sit dockside and look at the big boats. If you want fish they seem to know how to not overcook it.

Wonderful experience here! Some of the freshest seafood in this area, not to mention great outside water seating/ views, as well as superb service! ALL of the staff are extremely friendly and efficient! The motto they have there is, "Be nice"! It's written on everything! Great spot, can't say enough good things about it! Just go there, whether by boat OR car!!
