paid for an upgraded room w balcony and it faced a construction yard filled with dirt and dump trucks and workers up banging at 7am.

Bored bar boy. Kept looking at his cell phone the whole time. He would have been better off tidying up the bar and, above all, CLEANING IT!
The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day and looked well maintained.
The coffee at the hotel bar, if you can call it coffee, was terrible; a good coffee machine would be a good idea. The food on offer was OK.
Valet parking was excellent and relatively inexpensive at $40 per day.

I stayed at the Hyatt centric for four days and had an amazing time. I did a solo birthday trip. Everyone in the hotel was very accommodating and friendly special thank you to Rodrick’s who worked front desk she made me feel right at home. She extended herself. She was friendly from the moment. I stepped in very kind and patient ,everyone There was super awesome clean hotel. The restaurant in there is amazing. Just go ahead and book the stay

We were in room 1110… close to us (not sure which room, no more than two doors away) someone started blasting the music around 4 am… we couldn’t sleep… UNREAL that people can be such inconsiderate. Also, the billing is very confusing as far as credits and charges from the amenities..

We had a great experience at this hotel. During check-in, there was a brief issue with their computer system, but the staff quickly made up for it by offering complimentary drinks to my wife and me. The drinks were good and helped pass the time while we waited for our room. Once ready, the bell staff promptly brought our luggage up. The room was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, it's a very nice hotel in an ideal location. Highly recommend!

We’ve just had another amazing stay at Hyatt Centric Las Olas! We celebrated a birthday, and Mr. Jeffrey Katz made the celebration very special! It was our third stay at this hotel this year. We’ve been coming here to celebrate all our family’s important dates. The hotel team is simply amazing! We would like to specifically mention the restaurant team who are very welcoming and accommodating, and the food is on par with the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

When I showed up with my 4 year old daughter for dinner, they refused to honor my reservation. I had made it a little more than 3 weeks in advance for the holiday boat parade, but they lost it. Too late to find someplace else on the water, and my daughter wasn’t going to last much past dinner. So we had to miss the boat parade to find somewhere for dinner. We flew from Texas to see the boat parade, so this was very disappointing to say the least. If they respond to my post to provide an indefensible explanation, I’d like to point out that I have the call in my phone records…

Sat at the bar for 5 minutes and the bartender ignored us. Sat at a table and got ignored an additional 10 minutes. Place was not busy AT ALL.

Love this place ! Awesome food! Superb Chef! The weekend menu is delicious! It’s the perfect place to enjoy dinner, outside seating , the breeze, the view.. kid friendly in case you have the kids ! And also a great place to watch the game!!

Really expected more of this place, since it's been around for so long. Slow service. Food was just okay. The french fries were good though. And I am a fry lover. I gave it two stars because the food wasn't horrible, but it's just bar food.

The food was delicious the staff was awesome. The non alcoholic daiquiri was super flavorful. Will visit this restaurant again. Perfect location to sit outside and relax.

This is a nice spot where you can sit on the river and enjoy a nice meal. I wouldn't call it fine dining, but I would say it is above average. They also normally have a good beer selection.

This is actually the worst place in Fort Lauderdale. The hostess are not kind at all. Wait time even with reservation is horrible and food and drinks are so overpriced.

The service was impeccable! Ordered a filet, medium. First time it came out it was well done the second time it came out it was rare. The final time it was overlooked again and we gave up. Compensated for food with free desserts.

Do not bother trying to “walk-in” here. 1) I waited an hour and a half for a table ( which was 45 minutes longer than quoted ) which is not a problem but they literally had 10 open tables while I waited the extra 45.
Last night I walked in @5:45 restaurant was completely empty and they told me they are booked with reservations and we could eat at the bar ???? The manager did get a great job of communicating they need the table by 7:15 and let us sit. The only problem I ever had here is getting a table. Everything else is great!!! Just don’t bother walking in

The place is very nice, good service. We went on a Sunday. It was quiet, but I could see it being lively on the weekend. The food was not worth the ?. We'll not be returning.

Bargain $5 cocktails to start in the bar followed by a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Food is always excellent, I can highly recommend the black skillet mussels which are amazing, the Filet steak is also always very very good. Cocktails are great and you don't realise how strong they are until you're onto your 2nd one!

Dinner with a group of 10 was fantastic! Atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. The mussels are out of this world delicious, our table ordered 5 servings! For the main course I had a perfectly cooked steak with the crab Oscar topping, it was delicious but I wish I asked for the scallops instead. I split the creamy polenta with my boyfriend and several others, the portions of the side dishes are definitely enough to share. Everything was amazing and the service was exceptional. Will absolutely return.

I don't get tired of this place. The mussels are way better than even in Brussels itself. The restaurant has a distinct charm that makes me come back over and over again.
