Ocean Beach Club in Fort Lauderdale

Older hotel not really kept up and was not told of extra fees for whatever good location. wouldn't stay again

I was very disappointed when we got to our room and it was not updated like it was advertised. The bathroom didn't have hot water just warm and barely any water pressure. The mini fridge was barely cold. My friends kitchenette room had very outdated gross cookware and dishes. Even the toilet paper was a disgrace (thin and tore easily). Our rooms windows didn't open but my friends window did. I also got there and they charged my card twice and when I asked for a refund on the one purchase I was instructed to write an email for review from management. The website showed a sports bar/restaurant and come find out it had been closed for a while. All the tiki bars and other places of interest that was advertised wasn't even at this resort it was 10 min walk to all and was at other resorts. Also it showed gorgeous views of the ocean and it was all covered by other very tall resorts. Do your research and make sure you are booking what you are advertised. They did blame Expedia which in my opinion they should have been on top of it.
