Monumental Movieland Hotel in Orlando

Friendly staff but rooms are disgusring, bugs coming out of sink, pretty sure I saw a roach. Housekeeping didn’t come all weekend, we had to request new towels and they never came.
Very friendly people and accommodating with issues I had hut they need to keep the place up a bit more

I stayed here for 4 nights. When we arrived there were pharaoh ants crawling on the front desk wall. Upon entering my hotel room there were more pharaoh ants crawling in the bathroom and some type of creepy crawly that came out underneath the bed. We made sure to put any type of food and sweets in the fridge or threw it out in the trash downstairs to keep the ants out, The place smelled clean but all the metal items in the room such as the towel holders and lighting were rusted and falling off the wall. All electricity sockets were worn out and could not hold our plug electrical items. The microwave had old food inside and never been cleaned. The room felt wet and damp at all times even though the humidifier ran constantly it was not enough to rid the room of moisture. Do not expect any peace and quiet as you could hear every footstep and noise all night coming from the hallways. This hotel needs some basic upgrade remodel but I was glad to have a roof over my head and a hot shower during my stay in Orlando. I also have to say the staff was friendly.

The bed was very uncomfortable. There wasn’t enough towels for 3 people. On the last night we saw a roach in the bathroom. The curtains didn’t block out the lights. No iron/ironing board.

Room was way too cold. No heater was installed ot available in room. Just because its Florida, doesn't mean it doesn't get cold late in the year.

First of all the TV did not work. I called And they never showed up the phone was not hooked up. There were ghost ants in the bathroom when you were washing your hands, your feet were getting wet from the drain I stayed only one night. I would like my money back from the second night. I did not stay there.

This hotel was the biggest disappointment of my life, I've never stayed anywhere as dirty as this. To start off the air conditioning in our room didn't work, they moved us to a new room. The AC did work, but that didn't make up for all the other stuff that was in our room. Our room was ROACH INFESTED, had holes in the wall, the bedframes were made of JUST 2x4 pieces of wood, the we're stains/gunk on the bed sheets and walls, the bathroom light only worked half of the time, AND the game room does not exist. This place is a scam. After contacting *******, the hotel refused to refund us. Terrible experience, we had to bug bomb all of our luggage in our garage when we got home to ensure we didn't bring their roaches home with us. Don't stay here!

Imagine how bad it would be. The room smells of unknown Chinese medicine. Someone opens your door in the middle of the night. There is no place in the room that can make you feel clean. I don’t know how much I regret it.
