My weekend was everything I needed in my end of year business retreat. From the valet on arrival with warm hellos and can I assist you with your luggage to the check in process. I have nothing but greatness to share. The newly renovated rooms was very roomy and bright. The restaurant on the arrival with the staff full of smiles. The food was delicious. My breakfast experience each morning with Adrienne and Georgianna was a great way to start my day. Then I went out to the beach the service did not stop. Elzie made sure I had my towels before heading out to the beach. The fun on the beach with Ricardo making sure I had food and drinks. Once the beach was to cool we sat by the pool and Dede continued great service. Just great service every day. I hated to leave.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional — especially Deshan at the front desk, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we mentioned it was our anniversary, she graciously surprised us with a lovely gift of wine and fruit that made our celebration extra special. Our oceanfront executive suite was beautiful and luxurious with stunning views. The newly renovated pool area is gorgeous, and the resort’s direct beach access made it easy to enjoy jet skiing and long, relaxing days on the sand. Between the fantastic amenities, the tranquil oceanfront setting, and the warm, attentive staff, we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you, Deshan, for making our anniversary unforgettable!

This resort is absolutely gorgeous! The staff here is attentive to every possible detail, always smiling and kind and going out of their way to be helpful. I did not meet one person that worked here that did not seem genuinely happy and eager to help. The food is absolutely amazing. The beds and pillows are so comfortable this brand new resort is so tastefully decorated and the suites are breathtaking -as are the views. I just held an integrative medical conference for around 150 people and things could not have gone better. The food was delicious- beach dinner so well done. I am excited to announce that the Pompano Beach Marriot is the new home of my annual conference, The LymeBytes! Symposium. Thank you Fanci, Carlisle and your entire staff!!! YOU all made my conference a huge success.

The place is clean it's on the water it's a Marriott Hotel. None of that seems like it should be five stars however, it's the people. Sheila out by the pool always has a smile at always always always there to help if you need it. Then there's Kim at the restaurant when you walk in you're greeted by a nice smile easy conversation she sits you buy a nice table and then Georgia comes over or Adrian there's two more spectacular people they're friendly they go out of their way to make sure you got your coffee or your beverage or your food is warm. Then at night if you go to the bar there's Shane. Just another nice nice person with a smile on an easy conversation and really good bartender. So the five stars goes to the five people

My wife and I were so impressed at the level of amenities and service at this resort. They recently renovated, and it looks like a brand new hotel and resort. Ashley at the front desk and others were very helpful and kind to us and our children. We would come back to Pompano Beach specifically to stay here again.

I had such an amazing time on my short trip to Pompano Beach. I only stayed one night and cannot wait to come back. The absolute best part of my whole stay was the pool! Elzie Robinson is AMAZING! He made lounging by the pool so much better. He was so attentive, always smiling, and making sure that everyone was comfortable and had what they needed. I saw him go out of his way to give every guest incredible service. The best part was that it was evident that it was completely genuine. I was so excited the next morning when I came down to the pool and he was the first person I saw! I knew it was going to be another great day. How lucky you are to have him! I can’t wait to be back lounging by the pool.

The resort accommodates were great. The view from our room fantastic. The pool area was clean and inviting. Pool and bar staff were very friendly. Shout out to Elzie Robinson, who had such a friendly and helpful attitude. Also loved the host at the restaurant (Kester). He had a great sense of humor. I wish I could remember his name. The one down side was the spa...it needs work. The jets were not at all powerful or completely functional.

Overall, the hotel is very good. However, the daily rate is not inexpensive – it is on the higher side. For that reason, I believe they should reconsider the price charged for parking, since valet parking is $44 plus taxes per car, which comes to almost $50 per night. On top of that, they also charge extra for internet, there is a resort fee, and the gym was closed during my stay. Another situation that I found a bit unpleasant happened right when we arrived. My daughter was on the phone and had just sat on a chair for less than two minutes, when a staff member approached us to ask if we had paid to sit in that pool area. We were fully dressed and had no intention of staying there, so I felt that approach was a little impolite. On the positive side, I would like to highlight that the restaurant staff treated us very well and were extremely welcoming and attentive, which made our experience there much better.

We weren't staying at this property. We're actually staying next-door and walked down the beach and wandered up to the bar. We were told by the bartender Jennifer that we couldn't sit at the bar unless we were staying on the property. We loved the looks of the property so much that we walked back to our hotel checked out and got a room here. Ashley at the front desk was extremely welcoming I was able to accommodate us with ease and take care of a minor problem we had during our stay. The staff is wonderful Shiela by the pool has a bubbly, welcoming personality, and took good care of us. We look forward to coming back, staying at this resort and seeing all of our friends here again.

I must admit, after seeing some of the reviews in advance of the trip I booked months ago I had a bit of an "Oh no, what did I do?" feeling. I'm happy to say that this was an overwhelmingly positive experience. The area so nice and calm while the weather on the beachbwas stunning. The staff are incredibly kind and remember your name. While there is no pool at the moment, you hardly realize it since it's lovely beach weather. The beach service is lovely by providing complimentary chairs and the umbrella rental isn't all that expensive compared to the prices of other hotels that charge an arm and a leg to rent them. The beach itself is lovely and quiet and the food they serve on the beach is wonderful. This was a solo trip for me and I can confidently say I'll be back next year at the same location. Already looking forward to the next trip and seeing what the completed renovations look like!

Very rude bartender. I think she shook my beer before she slammed it on the bar. After she slammed it down in front of me and opened it and it went everywhere she simply walked away without cleaning it up. No napkins or paper towel in sight..so I finished my half a beer & put down 5 dollars to pay for it; she took the money without offering me any changé. Terrible servicé and very poor attitude... If somebody is that rude they shouldn't be in the service industry. I wouldn't go back if they offered me free drinks or meals for a month...thanks Gina!!!
