Great little spot. We showed up to Miami with no plans. Drove by it. Saw what a great location. Went online and booked for 1night. Had no problem extending our stay we enjoyed it so much. FYI there’s no receptionist. It’s online check in. We had no problems with that. They were just a phone call away when I wanted to extend my stay without changing rooms. Honey bistro at the hotel was great too. It was a lil windy one morning to go to the beach early so enjoying my coffee by the pool was a perfect spot for the am sunshine ☀️ they offer 2 comp beach chairs, Umbrellas for $20. We would recommend this hotel.

Love this place and the new concept and refresh—stayed once when it was Blue Moon Hotel.
The location is wonderful in the heart of the action. Inviting public spaces like a TV lounge and covered outdoor patio looking onto small pool. Honey’s food and happy hour was good and a couple of the servers were super friendly. If you walk up about 5 blocks, you can use 2 beach loungers too (bring towels). No housekeeping service but reliably got towels and coffee on text request.

It’s a great value for Miami Beach and very homey.

A nice hotel in South Beach. The hotel is located within 10 minutes of Muscle Beach, and minutes away from the bars and restaurants on Ocean’s drive. I like this hotel because it’s very affordable for the location.

I also like the customer service from the restaurant here, Jenny and Julieth are very warm, and really make this place much better. Everyday I will get delicious breakfast from the restaurant. Compliments to the chef too!

Finally, it’s quite easy to arrange things such as towel changes, cleaning, and all other requests abs questions through WhatsApp.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Aloha Friday’s, and both were such good experiences! The first time I traveled solo and felt so safe and comfortable, so when I came back with girlfriends I suggested here. The place is so cute, and the staff is fantastic. But the best part about this pace is the hotel bar, Honey’s! Javier is an incredible bartender and makes an amazing margarita! Go for happy hour (they have it everyday) and you won’t be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Aloha Fridays. The location is perfect (just one block from Ocean Drive) & I loved the interior decor, which had a very natural Tulum-like vibe. When we arrived, we went straight to the bar (Honey's on Collins) and had delicious Palomas & snacks (both the guacamole & brussel sprouts were awesome). The bartender was very friendly and we loved talking with him.

We had a little trouble getting into our room but the whole staff was very attentive and resolved the issue quickly. Our room was clean & spacious (we had the deluxe king suite) with nice views of Collins Ave. Wifi worked well, shower was clean with hot/well-pressurized water. The king bed was very comfortable, I do wish with sheets were a little softer.

Just a couple things to note - there is not really a reception, as it is more of an automated approach, but we didn't mind this. The walls are a little thin but we only noticed this late one night with a group of girls returning from the club. Also, you have to request cleaning/maid service if you'd like it daily - this isn't something that mattered to us too much though.

This hotel is definitely worth the price for its location & laid back vibe!

Amazing cozy hotel, the staff is always willing to help. The pool is not huge, it looks like a sauna, but if you are looking for something intimate and private. This is where you need to stay. The wings and fries were delicious. I recommend staying here, walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants. I will stay here again on my next trip to Miami

Very cute place. I booked last minute as there was a mixup with my scheduled hotel and the room at the Blue Moon was honestly what I needed. Clean, crisp, and quiet. The staff are super sweet, friendly, very professional and accommodating, thank you guys. There was light leak into my room, not too bad for most people I imagine… I’m super sensitive so had my sleep mask and it didn’t bother me.

Would recommend and would come back again :)

One great night at ' Blue Moon' on 4th of January.
Firstly, we were greatly surprised & delighted by the reception : we were welcomed with smiles & champagne- we needed it 😉 because the waiting for passport control & baggage reclaim took about three hours! 😊 .
The other favour we got was: late dinner supper ( we were starving and the waiter served us with huge portions & wine after 10 p.m. ) and we could not be grateful enough 😊
The location is perfect : loads of good restaurants & cafes within walking distance. The ocean is 5 minutes walk away.
We had a very comfortable room & bed. All functional & clean.
If I ever go to Miami, I will definitely stay at Blue Moon !

I stayed at the Blue Moon for a work convention. This is a perfect hotel for that purpose! Every day, my room was cleaned and refilled with new towels and water. If I were vacationing at this hotel, the pool was cute but not big, and I’d probably choose other hotels in the area. Location is great and walking distance to so many nice restaurants and the beach. The hotel staff is friendly but at times seemed disorganized and slow. The rooms were clean but older. Bathroom had a hair dryer and nice shower products. Lighting in the room was dull. Overall a cute spot but maybe not the best depending on purpose of travel!

When we arrived, staff were very helpful and were able to direct us to everything we needed. We were slightly dubious about staying here as we have heard some horror stories about hotels on South Beach. Staff were incredibly helpful and upbeat. The hotel room was clean upon arrival and stocked with very nice toiletries. The staff continued to greet when coming and going from the hotel. The pool was very nice, a little small but definitely a lot nicer than these over crowded pools.
The bartender deserves a shout out as he was incredibly nice and chatty. We spent some time in other hotels for food whilst we were there and this hotel is a strong contender. We didn’t try the food but it looks amazing

Very extensive menu, great for our picky eaters and vegan diet. Full breakfast menu all day, burgers, middle eastern fare, even a veggie stir fry for my vegan daughter. Super nice waitstaff. Location by the beach allows for people-watching, and News Cafe is a longtime South Beach icon. Should be part of every visit!

I went for breakfast and I can say it was good. I have smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The service was frendly and attentive. The restaurant have a very good location in Ocean Drive with view to the beach.

Wow has this place changed. Horrible service. Ordered eggs medium sunny - they came burnt well done. Ordered coffee - didn't come with milk and had to wait ten min for it. They redid the eggs and then forgot to give me any silverware. By the time I had my meal it was already cold. Finally asked for the check and they gave me the bill without a pen to sign it with. Like what kind of alternate reality is this restaurant operating in?? A shame because it used to be good. Not coming back anymore.

This is a lovely place with great food and really good service. The News Cafe is located in an area full of restaurants and bars but they stand out by keeping a low profile and delivering simple good food. The waiters were very friendly and helpful with both food and local information.

After being accosted numerous times by various venues along south beach, we finally decided on the News Cafe.

While initially dubious from the outside, I urge you to look past this and give it a go. The extensive menu can be a little overwhelming at first, but after a brief explanation of certain aspects from our waiter, we settled the quintessential way to start your day...buttermilk pancakes/waffles, streaky bacon and maple syrup, it was heaven. Follow that with a large iced tea and chunky doorstop toast, and you're on to a winner.

The staff seems a little quiet/rushed, but all on all a great breakfast choice. Prime location on South Beach Miami, a fresh breeze and a choice of sunny or shaded tables depending on preference.

Great views, awesome drink selection, they're daiquiri combinations are so cool and delicious. We had appetizers, fries and nachos, delicious as well. Pricey but the view of South Beach obviously makes it worth it!

My friends and I had an awesome experience at Wet Willies. Our server was extremely professional and provided us with multiple suggestions. We went late on a Tuesday night and got a spot on the patio upstairs - it wasn't busy at all. The food and drinks are flavourful and we enjoyed the view. Prices are also fair given the location and portion size! Will definitely visit again and try some more flavours of their famous drinks!

Nothing great at all. Overrated bar and food was horrible. Something straight out of a supermarket frozen pack. You need an ID to get in and what was surprising, the waiter asked for an ID to hold in order to take our orders. Gives you an idea what they think of their customers. We didn't eat our meal after the first few bites, the fish on tacos where the fish tasted processed and horrible. The pizza was just cheese and toppings slapped on top of a pita bread. Horribly cheesy and gooey. The only good thing going, our waiter was friendly and his service was good.

Had a $17 sandwich (South Beach prices, I guess). The bread was dry, hard, & flaking everywhere (prob not the freshest), the meat was chewy maybe with fat, and the only flavor the sandwich had was from the ~raw~ onions. I tried to enjoy myself by sitting out front, but with all the traffic noise you're better off sitting inside or using earbuds with music. Not sure if I would eat here again.

The food may be good but if you can't get waited on how do you know. Waited 15 minutes and was not waited on. When I asked if they were open, they said yes and would get someone to wait on me. I gave up and left.
