The staff and service is next to none; they are fantastic and make the experience. The construction noise around the pool area is extremely annoying and is the antithesis of relaxing. The hotel should notify people about this before they book. It would be nice if the restaurant area was a bit more upscale and less loud and tacky...

The staff was absolutely the best. Our room was cleaned and bed was made every time we left the room.

Been here twice so far and I had a lot of fun both times and the food was great.

I’m unlikely to stay here again or recommend it to others. Upon arrival, my room wasn’t ready, and when I was finally checked in, the room smelled strongly of chemicals and mold. Despite clearly stating I came for a relaxing weekend, I was placed on a floor full of screaming children.

They eventually moved me and sent up a cheese board as a gesture, which I appreciated. However, compared to my experience at W Miami—where I was upgraded and received thoughtful service after a minor inconvenience—this stay fell far short.

The staff, with the exception of the bellhops and pool service team, were mediocre at best. The hosts at Jaya were actually quite rude, and to top it off, the A/C in Japon was broken and leaked water on me during dinner.

This just wasn’t the level of service or experience I’d expect from a supposed luxury property.

I enjoyed my stay !!! Caviar brunch champagne was awesome and the three pools are great

This was a wonderful stay. The room was clean and spacious. Close to many shops and fine restaurants the location is so walkable. They have a few lovely restaurants on site. The pool was nice. Beach access. Staff was friendly and attentive. Happy with the choice to stay here, would definitely recommend.

Mrs Aslı at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to her, we had a really nice vacation. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was also friendly.

This property goes above and beyond, with great service and amenities. If the bar is Four Seasons or Ritz, this property is honestly better. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time in Miami.

I contacted them for reservations for my VIP clients that were in town for their Bachelor/Bachelorette parties. The reservation agent Christine was the BEST part of the experience. Based on my interaction with her, I thought this would be an AMAZING brunch experience! I was SO WRONG! From the valet being full and then wanting my guests to park in a sketchy garage where they took my card behind a door to charge it, to the RUDEST hostess ever! She was not friendly, short, and unhelpful. I asked to speak to a manager and she pointed me in a direction and went on to the person behind me. Manager had no information on when we’d be seated and seem uninterested in my conversation about who was coming and the importance of giving them a tremendous experience. We were seated 35 mins after our 3pm reservation with the buffet ending at 4pm ($110/pp).
Gabriel (server) was pleasant and helpful and the best part of the dining experience. The manager had no answers, split up our party to get us seated (late) and offered no explanation.
With the amount that our party spent, it was not worth the lack of customer service! I definitely don’t recommend Jaya at Setai to anyone looking for a good customer service experience! Do better team!

The atmosphere, service, and food was impeccable. The price was a bit higher than what I’m used to, but also not local to Miami. The food was 5* quality, and the drinks were flowing nonstop during their Saturday brunch. Highly recommend.

Buffet was horrible. Old food, not fresh, warmed up for like hours. The drinks were horrible and the sweets were left in room temperature for hours. But the staff was pretty great.

Not a good experience. The two "bartenders" were way more into themselves and looking at themselves in the mirror than attending to customers. To add insult to injury we had to pay the included/mandatory 20 pct tip to those creepy chicks. My real "tip" to them would be to go find another job you might be good at. It was a really, weird, cold, and snotty vibe. I would never go back here again. Food was just ok... the table service was at least better than the bar and decent!

Amazing food and service! Nice atmosphere. The risotto is the reason I will be coming back to this place. Simply put its sensational.

I decided to eat here because of the Miami Spice event, and quite frankly it felt like a screw you to people who can't afford to eat here normally. The dishes were all tiny (two fried shrimp is an appetizer?) and when I looked at other people's plates who'd ordered from the normal menu there was substantially more food. Furthermore, I got a strong sense from our waitress that she would rather be serving someone who's check was going to be bigger. She was much more attentive to tables ordering from the normal menu, and we rarely saw her. I understand that Miami Spice prices are going to be much cheaper than a restaurants regular prices and they don't necessarily want to lose money, but don't participate in Miami Spice then. It felt like once they became aware that we would be ordering from that menu they tried their hardest to wrap up our meal and get us out as quickly as possible. Also we weren't notified there was gratuity already included and I left an additional 15%. Dishonest and snobby.

What a waste of a Miami evening. We brought our own wine knowing that there would be a "corking fee" of $50 per bottle. One of our bottles were larger...so they charged us $100. Why? no extra glasses and we poured most of it ourselves. Our bill was $650 for six of us including tip. The food was nothing special. The 8oz Filet was just average.
Everything in Miami is 18% gratuity included on your bill. Our waiter asked us for an additional 15% to 20% tip claiming the 18% goes to the "other help" What a scam...what are supposed to do? Look cheap in front of your friends?

Best restaurant deal in South Beach great food great staff

This might be the best value of any restaurant in Miami Beach. The Italian food is tremendous, the service is friendly and knowledgeable, and the setting is incredibly romantic. You would have no idea that you are steps away from the ocean and the heart of South Beach. Instead, you feel whisked away to a peaceful Italian courtyard in a villa.

My favorite restaurant in Miami Beach. We go there with the whole family. Outstanding food great wine and very affordable prices. There is a big garden which is very nicely decorated it's always a good time eating there. Last but not least amazing staff... !
A must in South Beach.

I have been coming to this place for the last 2 years! The food is GREAT - I love the fact that it sits almost in a hidden section. Luckily, I have always found parking. - The drinks are okay... not impressive. However I always leave fully satisfied with my food choices. - I just wish there weren't so many mosquitos outside and that the chairs weren't so hard/uncomfortable. Regardless, I Always sit outside because the little lamps, and the trees, and bamboo makes me feel some sort of way... Love it.
