This hotel is nothing spectacular, just a place to rest your head. Be aware joining doors between rooms are paper thin. I had a room with king bed and bathroom was very small, couldn’t even close the door if you were already on the toilet because your knees would be in the way.
This hotel is a big surprise for being a Hilton.

I’ve stayed in other hotels within a block from this hotel, and I’ve never had an experience quite like this one.
Experience from the start was sub standard.
We were checking in at 5pm and was told our room was still not available, even though we had checked in virtually online the day prior. We were told that our hotel room was still not ready as there was something going on with “airlines,” which seemed like a group of pilots had rented out rooms that day as I saw them going in and out. Regardless, accommodations and arrangements should have been appropriately made to accommodate all guests, regardless of group size or expenses.

Be aware of parking and valet.
We were given an option for either $45/day valet or city parking in a garage, not associated with the hotel itself. After parking in the city garage, leaving for dinner that night, and then attempting to valet the car later that evening, we were told by valet services that valet is actually not associated with the hotel, and has nothing to do with the hotel. Valet also continued to tell us that valet was not available as they were crowded due to an event as well as the football game.

Will not be staying in the hotel again if I visit Tampa, there other options that are great within walking distance.
