The Hyatt Grand Cyprus is an absolutely underappreciated gem. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that this property offers far more than one would expect. The grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, and the sheer number of activities available makes it easy to enjoy the resort without ever feeling bored. Whether you’re looking to unwind or stay active, there is truly something for everyone.

One of the most delightful and memorable touches is Merlot, the parrot ambassador in the lobby. Watching Merlot enjoy snacks and interact with guests is incredibly entertaining and adds such a unique, joyful character to the hotel. It’s a small detail that leaves a big smile and speaks to the personality of the property.

While I did experience a minor issue during my stay, what stood out most was how far above and beyond the staff went to address it. Not only was it handled promptly and professionally, but the team took additional steps to ensure my complete satisfaction, doing things I hadn’t even asked for. That level of care, anticipation, and genuine hospitality is rare and deeply impressive.

I’ve always had great confidence in Hyatt for its outstanding properties and service, and this experience reinforced that trust once again. Time and time again, Hyatt proves why it stands apart, and the Hyatt Grand Cyprus is no exception.

I had a great stay! Awesome amenities we took advance of the shuttles to Disney which made our trip simple! Gavin at the front desk was so friendly and helpful really all of the staff we encountered during our stay were so incredibly kind and helpful. We would absolutely come back again!

My husband and I have been coming here since we started dating and continue to come back because our expectations are always exceeded and never disappointed. We now have a baby and we can't wait to share this wonderful place with him. Our most recent experience has been the best one yet. Yuno checked us in with the utmost responsiveness and care for our requests and preferences. He gave us a complimentary upgrade and offered a late checkout due to our Hyatt status and was also really great to talk to! Then Merlot danced for us as we walked to the elevators (so cute!). The next morning, our breakfast server and the Lakehouse, Abe, went above and beyond to make our experience special and one of a kind. He gave the kind of service that will make you come back and ask for him to be your waiter every time. My husband and I both work in the hotel industry so we know how important it is to provide stellar service and the people here do exactly that! We can't wait to come back soon!

We’ve stayed at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress multiple times, and it never fails to feel like our home away from home. There’s always something fun for the whole family, whether it’s biking, kayaking, basketball, mini golf, or just relaxing by the amazing pools. And we absolutely love visiting Merlot the parrot! 🦜 ❤️

What truly makes this hotel special is the people. Calvin at the front desk always greets us with a smile, and Ouissam, Daslila, and Aicha at the Lakehouse Restaurant treat us like family. Every interaction feels personal and genuine, and they go out of their way to make every stay unforgettable.

On top of that, the location is perfect, just minutes from the Disney parks, making it so convenient for family adventures. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place we love coming back to, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Great stay! From the very start to the very end, every employee was happy, smiling and on it! The person who answers the text line was FIRE and so fast and helpful! The resort is beautiful, with the pools and ample chairs and shade. The grounds are spotless and inviting.
The breakfast area is clean and easy to get around and the staff members there are so friendly and helpful as well. They even remembered me when I came in for breakfast after the first day.
I wasn't there for the "parks" but many were and it seemed like there was a shuttle to/from the parks and everyone had a great time.

The hotel room facilities are relatively simple and there is room for improvement. The landscaping outside is beautiful. The breakfast is very average and the parking fee is expensive. But the front desk staff is very nice. I will not book again.

At first, we were given a room at the end of the corridor, and it was on the second floor. There was a musty smell when we entered... It was hard to rate it. After paying 50$, we were upgraded to a normal room, which was slightly better. I will not book a second time. The room was very old and the decoration was as bad as Holiday Inn.

I was surprised, we went to the restaurant because we were staying at the hotel and was not expecting the level of quality this place has. I had the best crab cakes I ever had in my life and they came with coconut cream grits that was also amazing. Highly recommended.

If you like Capital Grille's menu you will love Hemingway's amazingly simple menu. It's high-class casual if that's a thing.

It's located close to Disney Springs on the Hyatt compound. Valet parking is free so you don't have far to walk in the Florida heat( It can be hot here even at night during the summer months).

After a boat ride and romantic walk with 1 million of our closest friends at Disney Springs, we came here for a night out without our very loving and energetic toddlers. I had the crab cakes and my wife had the blackened salmon. The new bench mark for Crab Cakes was made mostly of very delicate and supple crab chunks. It was served with an adequate amount of coconut mash potatoes, a few chunks of asparagus and a small helping of a corn based salsa. Yum.
I managed to sample my wife's meal and I must say I have never tasted blackened salmon like this before. It tasted like it was actually prepared using real flames and seasoned perfectly.

Excellent meal. Bravo.

From start to finish it was perfect. I just wish we were able to be more leisurely, but we had a show to catch! Waiters were awesome. Food delicious. Their recommendations we spot on! Beautiful scenery to boot. Highly recommend.
