Basic, clean, great and seemingly safe location. No elevator and staff don't offer to help so will need to carry your own luggage upstairs so only for fit and able people to stay or have minimal luggage. The older evening staff was quite rude but the other younger one was ok. Wifi slow on 3rd floor so use mobile data. Street noise. Overall, basic, very clean and great location so good value for money but just Caution need to carry own luggage, street noise during and wifi.

Midtown West Hotel is a decent choice in NYC. The rooms were quite nice and the hotel's location was really handy for getting around. The service was alright, but didn't detract from an otherwise pleasant stay. Definitely recommend it for its good rooms and central spot.

The first night they put me in a room that smelled really bad, and they didn’t want to change me, until they find out they were painting that floor, but they still made me sleep there for one night, the second room was okay but the toilet wasn’t flushing, and then my parent in the other room got a cleaning without their permission and they lost their AirPods that were on the room.

Much bigger than expected! Three of us fit comfortably in two beds - one twin and one full. Heat was great . It was a little too warm for me but I couldn’t change the temperature. The bedding was sparkling clean and looked relatively new. The towels were white and clean …. No stains. Great find right in midtown!

Older hotel. Room was exactly what I needed for just me, but the bed was terribly uncomfortable. Cute for what it is. There is no elevator, so be sure to pay attention to that when booking, as I didn’t. I’m in NYC a couple times a year, and this will probably be my go-to place as it’s within walking distance to pretty much everything.

We were given a room key upon checking in, but the room had not been cleaned yet. We were given another room on the same floor so we did not have to wait.
Unfortunately, the heat was on full blast in the room and we had no control over it in the room.
The bathroom was so small you couldn’t even stand in front of the sink.
Convenient location, but not a great place.

I did like the free earplugs, but there is no thermostat in the room, the bathroom is hard to use it’s so tiny. No cable tv

The bathroom had a horrible noise each time the light went on and there was no shower holders in the shower. There are also very limited outlets and we found a roaches

This is a hotel location is great you can go walking time square and 5th avenue. We booked for 3 nights vacation on new year. Its has the basic if your looking for a friendly budget hotel. But aware is very noisy outside cars horns police sirens and many more things. The hotel staff are friendly and let you leave your bags if you arrive early while you cheke in later. But there are some things they can do better, old AC in my room sound like a truck engine and those 3 day they never clean our room!

Small and loud with thin walls, but it's a budget hotel on a busy NYC street- that's expected. No elevator and the heat was turned up too high with no way to control it. Our room was clean and service was friendly and helpful, even letting us store luggage after we'd checked out. Bed was okay, pillows were pretty bad. Great central location, and a bodega with a cute cat is right next door. Would stay again if I was on a budget again, with some hesitation perhaps.

Would be a zero stars if an option. My wife and I went and grabbed a sandwich and a cheese and cracker combo from the place before we boarded our train. When we opened the cheese and crackers there was mold over the cheese and grapes. Very nasty and unacceptable. If it wasn't for the train leaving I would have given them a piece of my mind. There packages have no made on or remove by date. Complete garabage. I will be disputing all charges.

friendly service and way more than cappuccino. It's basically a mini store under MSG. Prices are reasonable but higher than other areas because of the location as you'd expect.

Bad service tonight, 9 Jan 2017, @9:45pm, at the drinks bar, manager was closing register and just pointed to go over the other register because this is closed. No smile, bad attitude. We have all worked a hard long day, and customer service and a smile go a long way, even in NYC.

Otherwise the service is always great.

Came in today with a coworker for lunch. Just started working in One Penn Plaza, so this was my first trip to Lugo. Had the veal milanese which was quite tasty. Service was attentive without being overbearing. The GM checked in on us and was quite the people person. All in all, I'm glad this restaurant is right below me everyday I work....... sure beats the corner hotdog!

Came here before the Marc Anthony concert. Place was busy, but the service was wonderful. Food was really, REALLY good, especially considering where this restaurant is located.... right across the street from the Garden. My wife and I couldn't have been happier with our service (thanks Jackie), food, AND treatment by management. Danny and Dave went out of their way to make our dining most pleasurable. Thanks to everyone at Lugo. We will most definitely be back!

Best place in the area to dine. Breaking news...... the AC seems to be fixed. That was the only reason this place was to be avoided in the dead of summer. Now you can come year round to get good food and great service all set in a charming atmosphere.

Great waitress, good food. However 90 degrees in New York City today air conditioning not working. Apparently this happens every summer. Dine in the summer at your own risk. No attempt by management to even comp a cool drink.

*** Received a call from management with apologies for the discomfort and assurances that they are resolving the issues. He insisted on speaking to us personally instead of responding in a cold email.

Food was amazing, definitely worth the price. Make sure you come prepared to spend. Great location and indoor and outdoor seating, and the wine selections are great.

The food was good besides I had hair in my food and in my water glass. I expected to pay nothing for my meal because that was absolutely their fault. They did make me pay and gave me a 10% discount so I will never go back. I should have just walked out.

Very cool Diner not far away from Penn Station and Times Square. Great place to get the Diner experience in the middle of everything. I had Eggs Benedict for breakfast and it was so good! Service was very friendly and came with ice cold water several times.

Typical diner food but I enjoyed it a lot. My 50% beef 50% bacon burger went down a treat really. It was quite busy but then you expect that near Madison Square Gardens and it didn't affect the service.
