This place does feel like a Dream, from the convenience of being in Midtown, to the small elevator and long hallways, stunning rooftop views, I'd stay again and recommend others. My stay was comfortable, slept well, some noise, the blinds helped defuse the lights outside the room window.
There was a mix up with 3rd party payment however the staff was patient if reviewing payment history and effortless correct the duplicate charge. Exceptional staff and security. It's mentioned to return on a Thursday for the best nightlife on the rooftop lounge & bar, very spacious, indoor and outdoor rooftop seating.

First time staying in NY overnight! This hotel is clean, stocked with good quality essentials, and in the heart of NY close to subway for cheap travel. I’d like to thank Dragana in maintenance for being so kind and helping me stock my room, the hotel is lucky to have such a hardworking employee!

Our experience was great, they let us check in early when we arrived around 11 am. Their staff was very friendly. Location wise, everything is just around the corner. A lot of restaurants in the area. Train subway is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

We got stuck in a corner room who has zero Wi-Fi signal being an international traveler Wi-Fi was definitely needed. I’ll check in. Nobody told us even though the room 203 was listed with a special connection needed. We had to have someone come to the room twice to switch between different Wi-Fi to try to get something to work and it’s still only worked half the time we paid for a king bed and got a queen that didn’t have enough room to even walk between the bed and the desk. The TV antenna didn’t work and only one or two channels would come in. There was no view or windows to look out.
The positives it was a nice location… easy to get around and we felt safe in the area
If you get room 203 I highly recommend you tell him to give you a different room

Worst hotel I have stayed this holiday. I stayed at many in the area and this was the only that:
1) Did not allow children in the rooftop at anytime.
2) Breakfast is cereal, pastries and coffee. It’s NOT a real breakfast.
3)No bath, shower didn’t work.
4)No views
5)Small ugly room
6)Unprofessional staff
7) The noise will make sure to wake you up.
8) No real amenities to rest and enjoy like in most of the other hotels.
The entire time I felt I had been scammed. A feeling I had never had with any other hotel.
I live here in NYC and by all means, this place is unacceptable.

We checked out today. The hotel and rooms could use some TLC, we had a queen bed, and the room was kinda tight. It kind of felt like we were on a cruise; however the staff was incredible. Housekeeping kept our room nice and clean every day!! Absolutely Loved that!!
Mike at the front desk was so caring, courteous and extremely nice.
Location could not be better, short walk to Central Park, shops, Columbus circle, and train stations.
Just know that NYC is known for the honking, sirens, cop cars noise etc, so don’t expect for rooms to be extremely quiet. We were on the 7th floor and could still hear it….we visit NYC twice a year and it doesn’t bother us at all, but if you or anyone in your party is susceptible to noise perhaps a room at higher floor MIGHT help. We were happy with it
The bell staff can arrange car service to airport. We asked the day before checking out and it was perfect.
We will definitely stay at the Dream again no question about that.

Although you can have a NY dinner experience it is the most overpriced place in the most over priced City. $22 for a hot dog? C'mon man! I'm willing to indulge some places just because. This isn't one of. If on the other hand you like being crammed into a tight, noisy space to get mediocre, expensive food, this is your place. The only thing it had going for it is location. Enjoy.

Service was amazing and the food was great, also one of the few restaurants open at 7:30 AM near Park Central Hotel. But when they say "The Finer Diner" they certainly do mean it. Expect to pay about $20.00 per person (~$55.00 for 2 people).

Busy place but well worth the 10 minute wait. I see a lot of customers ordered the chicken pot pie whick looked really good.I ordered the Old Fashion Brooklyn Burger and it was the best burger I ever tasted. My wife ordered the chicken noodle soup which was delicious.

Love the fries here! The spaghetti rocks, too. But, please ask for your burger to be well done if you prefer it that way. Even though the menu states it's cooked well done, mine wasn't. Another was cooked for me to take out...which I didn't bother eating, so what a waste.

Expensive and the food is just "okay", but the decor is incredibly well done. It truly places you in a fifties style diner with bustling waiters racing around this overcrowded spot. Each booth is lined with small plaques of famous patrons and it's fun seeing who sat where you are and trying to remember who's who. I head in once every six months or so for a diner breakfast (blueberry pancakes!) or pie, and brush up on my knowledge of old celebrities.

Can I just say holy f. The burgers here are worth the wait. Though my husband and I visited late at night so we didn’t wait at all. Simple menu, no bs froufrou. Delicious food, nice people making it, and a fun charming atmosphere. Definitely a must check out.
