Reviews
The one thing we didn’t like was the breakfast that comes as part of the resort/facilities fee of our stay. It was prison food. Doughnuts were a week old and stale. Turkey breast cold cut with more fat in it than turkey meat. We ended up having breakfast for the first day only and went elsewhere for the other days. Such a shame the breakfast pulled down our experience at the hotel
We booked two rooms, and one of them was extremely small. My sister‑in‑law could barely move around the bed due to the lack of space, and the bathroom was also far too small to be considered adequate. This made the stay uncomfortable from the outset.
I also raised the possibility of an upgrade, which is a benefit of my membership. However, I was repeatedly pushed back, and only three days later was I finally offered an upgrade—by which point it was no longer useful. This felt dismissive and inconsistent with the loyalty benefits I’m accustomed to.
Additionally, when requesting a late checkout—another Platinum perk—I was only granted one extra hour. This created a very awkward and rushed departure, which again didn’t align with the service level expected for elite members.
Finally, the breakfast service was disappointing. Several of the servers were noticeably rude, which added to the overall frustration during the stay.
I value this brand and have always chosen it for reliability and service, which is why this experience was particularly disheartening. I would appreciate it if you could review these issues and let me know how they will be addressed to ensure future stays meet the expected standard.
Between the bed and the wall there was probably a foot on each side
The rest was good

Great concept. Wonderfully entertaining!
The other side has japanese home style seating which is also cool. Staff will appear from behind you at times to scare you, emulating the name of the restaurant. The atmosphere is the big allure for me but the food is delicious. You get a choice of a few different 5 course meals full of amazing food. Admittedly, they had a bigger selection last time but I think this is now more streamlined. You choose one of the full courses which all come packed with gourmet delicacies or you can pick individual items from the menu. Bring your appetite because there is so much food. I always wait to eat until dinner and often I find myself full by the end of the main course. Several of the dishes also have an element of presentation to them. For example, the ninja star desert is a real ninja star they turn into chocolate and some other items use dry ice to produce smoke. The food and the atmosphere are all great and why you come here. Personally, I find this one of the greatest theme restaurant in New York, especially with Jekyll and Hyde in Times Square closed down. While meals can be a bit pricey (usually between 45-75 depending on what course you choose) this is a luxury destination. You pay for the food and atmosphere and I think it's always worth it. Save up your money for a while and check it out. I'm planning to go again next year for my birthday because it is that much fun.
