Good location, beside subway entrance

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location with excellent access to the subway. Would book again!

We liked the fact that staff were pleasant, left us alone (which we like) but were there when you needed them for questions etc. when we made requests they were followed through efficiently and effectively by the staff. Shout out to the friendly doorman.

The one thing we didn’t like was the breakfast that comes as part of the resort/facilities fee of our stay. It was prison food. Doughnuts were a week old and stale. Turkey breast cold cut with more fat in it than turkey meat. We ended up having breakfast for the first day only and went elsewhere for the other days. Such a shame the breakfast pulled down our experience at the hotel

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. The front desk check-in was polite, quick, and easy. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast was very good. We would happily stay here again

I am writing to share my disappointment following my recent stay. Unfortunately, several aspects of the experience fell well below the standard I expect—particularly as a Platinum member.

We booked two rooms, and one of them was extremely small. My sister‑in‑law could barely move around the bed due to the lack of space, and the bathroom was also far too small to be considered adequate. This made the stay uncomfortable from the outset.

I also raised the possibility of an upgrade, which is a benefit of my membership. However, I was repeatedly pushed back, and only three days later was I finally offered an upgrade—by which point it was no longer useful. This felt dismissive and inconsistent with the loyalty benefits I’m accustomed to.

Additionally, when requesting a late checkout—another Platinum perk—I was only granted one extra hour. This created a very awkward and rushed departure, which again didn’t align with the service level expected for elite members.

Finally, the breakfast service was disappointing. Several of the servers were noticeably rude, which added to the overall frustration during the stay.

I value this brand and have always chosen it for reliability and service, which is why this experience was particularly disheartening. I would appreciate it if you could review these issues and let me know how they will be addressed to ensure future stays meet the expected standard.

Loved the little extras like the walking tours, wine hour etc. We were there for New Years Eve and they handed out little hats and glasses etc. The room was clean and house keeping kept it nice during our stay. Breakfast was nice. Great location - easy to get up to mid-town, but also nice to be able to retreat back away from the crowds each evening.

The room was really small, no space for any luggage, and we only had one carry on so I can’t imagine if we had two where would have been able to put them
Between the bed and the wall there was probably a foot on each side
The rest was good

The room was small (like most rooms in NYC) but very well appointed. High quality linens, towels and shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/body lotion. It also has a great location. The price was very reasonable for what was offered. I plan on staying there the next time we’re in NYC.

They must be short staffed in housekeeping. We were out of the room from 10-3 and no housekeeping for 2 days. Hotel was very quiet. Everything worked. Nice breakfast and restaurant. Bar very loud and noisy - not nice.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. I have stayed at several other hotels and this one stands out for its cleanliness, amenities, hospitality of the staff, location and overall high value for the price. I stayed with family and plan to stay here again next time I’m in the city.

Sazon is great upscale Puerto Rican restaurant. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I am a wheelchair user and I called ahead to check on accessibility. When I got there they set a ramp so I can make up the front steps and had a table ready that I could easily access. We had the surullos filled with cheese as an appetizer and the Mofongo as our main meal. They were both super delicious! My girlfriend and I will be definitely returning to this place.

I NEVER do reviews because I usually don't care enough to write about my experience. However, this place was SO AMAZING I have to give a review. The food was absolutely fantastic (coming from someone who eats Spanish food all the time). My family of 13 people all shared each others dishes because EVERYTHING was yummy. The service was also absolutely wonderful. Hands down the BEST Puerto Rican food ever!!! This was a true gem in Manhattan.

It was an awesome experience I went for MY birthday, and I and my family loved it. I recommend the Sarutobi set and the ninja star desert. We also had the same and it was satisfying. The servers were all really nice and so entertaining. They kept on surprising us and brought so much joy and spontaneity to our evening meal. We were even treated to some great magic tricks and were amazed at the food preparations that were fun, beautiful and entertaining. Great concept and the execution was phenomenal. I can't wait to go again!

Celebrated my wife’s birthday here, was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The reviews I read gave a positive outlook on the entertainment and not so much the food. My wife and I thought the food was great and priced well. I definitely recommend Ninja for a fun casual night out.

Inventive and delicious food, and a lot of it. None of us were able to finish meals.
Great concept. Wonderfully entertaining!

I first went to Ninja 5 years ago for my birthday and it was the best dinner I ever had. Went back for a second time last year, also for my birthday and they still did not disappoint. Ninja is one of the best and most entertaining restaurants in New York, although it's more like an interactive dining experience. Ninja is themed completely around the theme of ancient Japan, complete with some amazing decor on the inside. The outside of the building looks deceptively ordinary but as soon as you rode the elevator down you are greeted with this fantastic environment filled with different things to see. There's a side of the place that looks more like traditional dining but it's bathed in low lighting
The other side has japanese home style seating which is also cool. Staff will appear from behind you at times to scare you, emulating the name of the restaurant. The atmosphere is the big allure for me but the food is delicious. You get a choice of a few different 5 course meals full of amazing food. Admittedly, they had a bigger selection last time but I think this is now more streamlined. You choose one of the full courses which all come packed with gourmet delicacies or you can pick individual items from the menu. Bring your appetite because there is so much food. I always wait to eat until dinner and often I find myself full by the end of the main course. Several of the dishes also have an element of presentation to them. For example, the ninja star desert is a real ninja star they turn into chocolate and some other items use dry ice to produce smoke. The food and the atmosphere are all great and why you come here. Personally, I find this one of the greatest theme restaurant in New York, especially with Jekyll and Hyde in Times Square closed down. While meals can be a bit pricey (usually between 45-75 depending on what course you choose) this is a luxury destination. You pay for the food and atmosphere and I think it's always worth it. Save up your money for a while and check it out. I'm planning to go again next year for my birthday because it is that much fun.

The food was pretty good. The service was friendly despite the quirkiness and penchant for surprise. Very interesting concept of a restaurant.
