LUMA Hotel Times Square in New York

Being our first time in New York, we had no clue where to stay. This hotel did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful. When you come back each time, they all say welcome back. The cleaning staff was friendly and the room had everything we needed. Thank you for a great first NYC experience!

7000 a night is not worth it. The room is so small that you can't turn around!

Was just there in October. The Luma is the perfect location to Times Square, Bryant Park and other popular spots! Luma suite was beautiful, clean, fresh and modern. Shower was amazing and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in a hotel. Friendly service and warm decorative upbeat atmosphere. Looking forward to our return next Fall.

A very good time

We had a wonderful stay at LUMA and would stay again in the future! The staff was very friendly and always greeted us as we entered and exited the hotel. We booked a package that included breakfast, which was far above any breakfast buffet we've had at previous hotels. Each day there was a meat (sausage or bacon) and egg (frittata or scrambled) option along with DELICIOUS pastries, cold cereal, fruit, bread for toasting, yogurts, and juices. The breakfast staff were attentive and courteous. Our stay included myself, my husband, and my adult son. We reserved a king bed with a sofa bed; the room was small, but that's expected in NYC. The bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable and the blackout shades were very effective! We used the mini fridge for bottled water and soda. I loved the Dyson hair dryer! The housekeeping staff did an excellent job tidying up our room daily and pulling out the sofa bed on the evenings that we were out. LUMA is very close to two different subway stations, which made getting around the city quick and easy. There is a "plaza" with benches and trees across the street; we enjoyed sitting there on several occasions to unwind and relax after a busy day. It's an unusually quiet and calming spot in a chaotic city. Bryant Park is at the end of the block; also a wonderful place to relax and people-watch or grab a quick eat. I can't say enough good things about LUMA, its staff, and its location. I will recommend them to others I know traveling to NYC.

The room is relatively large, the facilities are relatively new, and the hygiene is clean. It is a very good experience

I recently accompanied a friend at the LUMA Hotel and had an exceptional experience. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and offered stunning views of the city. The amenities were top-notch.

One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding service provided by the staff. I would like to give a special mention to Travis. He went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From arranging seamless transportation to offering thoughtful local tips, his dedication and professionalism truly stood out. His warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home, and I cannot thank him enough for his exceptional service.

Overall, our stay was unforgettable, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay with outstanding service.

Fabulous service, great location, good rooms.

The service of the hotel is simply outstanding. The front office staff including the hostess and the boys who help you to get your luggage to your room are all very friendly, helpful, polite and cordial

Location is extremely convenient

Room sizes are a bit small, but I guess that's what we would get in NY city.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very good, everything is good!

The biggest advantage is that it is spacious. In this location in the city center, the room can still open six 28-inch boxes on the ground. However, the facilities are relatively average. There is no central control panel for the lights and they must be turned on and off one by one. Even if you spend more money to buy a more expensive room type, there is no view outside the window. There are only two hot dishes for breakfast, and the others are mainly various breads and pastries. The hot water in the faucet is very turbid and the hot water pressure in the bathroom is relatively low. So the overall experience is average, four-star level. Only the room layout, service and location are good. If you only care about these, then this hotel is suitable.
