I had a wonderful stay here; probably the best experience I've ever had in Manhattan. The location is excellent—just a ten-minute walk from Central Park or Times Square. The hotel and rooms are very beautiful and clean. We stayed in a room with a king bed, which gave our daughter plenty of room to play, and the window had a beautiful view of the street. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast and adjacent garage parking were added perks. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent value for money for its location in NYC. Small building wedged between a few others however the room was outstanding. Comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast and wine and cheese hour included in the rate which was also nice. Breakfast selection is limited (considering the size of the property) but otherwise very good. 10/10 would recommend this place.

My mother visited me in the city and stayed here. Perfect location with the subway and a lot of great restaurants nearby, plus Central Park two blocks away. The staff was always so friendly and the room was quiet, updated, and comfortable.

Just wrapped up a stay at The Carnegie Hotel and really enjoyed it! The location is absolutely perfect, right where you want to be. The rooms were pretty solid – clean and comfortable, exactly what I needed after a day out. Service was great too, super friendly and helpful staff all around. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

First impression was impressive with the staff that stood, smiled, and greeted me upon arrival. Followed by a complementary glass of wine and fruit/cheese/nuts. The room was modern, very quiet, and comfortable. Only 4-5 rooms per floor. Finishes inside were well-appointed, great attention to detail. Great location in midtown with several nearby subway stations. I’ll be staying here again!

It is really hard to rate New York hotels because they are universally awful and expensive. Even when staying in a 5 star hotel the best you can hope for is a room big enough to turn around in without touching both sides or a level of cleanliness comparable to a college dorm.
On that starting point this hotel is fine. It is clean and the bathroom is to an ok standard. The coffee and breakfast leave a lot to be desired and the coffee didn’t even work on one of the nights. Air conditioning also broke during the night. Staff are friendly and the location is very good.

The location is convenient. It is very smooth and fast to go to any attraction. There are many snacks in the hotel lobby for free. Coffee and juice are available at any time. The hotel service staff are very warm and thoughtful

The Courtyard Room was better than I expected, and the staff was reasonably friendly.
I stayed in a Superior King Room alone, so the room was spacious enough, and it was very close to a Carnegie Hall performance, which was nice.
I also appreciated that during happy hour, they offered light snacks and even water.

Can I just say holy f. The burgers here are worth the wait. Though my husband and I visited late at night so we didn’t wait at all. Simple menu, no bs froufrou. Delicious food, nice people making it, and a fun charming atmosphere. Definitely a must check out.

Although you can have a NY dinner experience it is the most overpriced place in the most over priced City. $22 for a hot dog? C'mon man! I'm willing to indulge some places just because. This isn't one of. If on the other hand you like being crammed into a tight, noisy space to get mediocre, expensive food, this is your place. The only thing it had going for it is location. Enjoy.

Service was amazing and the food was great, also one of the few restaurants open at 7:30 AM near Park Central Hotel. But when they say "The Finer Diner" they certainly do mean it. Expect to pay about $20.00 per person (~$55.00 for 2 people).

Busy place but well worth the 10 minute wait. I see a lot of customers ordered the chicken pot pie whick looked really good.I ordered the Old Fashion Brooklyn Burger and it was the best burger I ever tasted. My wife ordered the chicken noodle soup which was delicious.

Love the fries here! The spaghetti rocks, too. But, please ask for your burger to be well done if you prefer it that way. Even though the menu states it's cooked well done, mine wasn't. Another was cooked for me to take out...which I didn't bother eating, so what a waste.

Expensive and the food is just "okay", but the decor is incredibly well done. It truly places you in a fifties style diner with bustling waiters racing around this overcrowded spot. Each booth is lined with small plaques of famous patrons and it's fun seeing who sat where you are and trying to remember who's who. I head in once every six months or so for a diner breakfast (blueberry pancakes!) or pie, and brush up on my knowledge of old celebrities.
