What an amazing experience staying in this magnificent hotel for the last night of a two week journey in the USA! My husband and I were delighted when we heard the hotel had reopened in the summer after many years of refurbishment, and that we were able to stay there during our visit to NYC. From the moment we arrived we knew we were in a special place. On checking in, Molly, gave us the warmest of welcomes and could not have done more for us during our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was absolutely perfect. Our upgraded suite was beautiful, and the special touches she arranged to help celebrate the end of a big birthday trip were much appreciated. The hotel itself has been restored to its original glory and more, with original features married very successfully with modern technology to ensure everything was at the touch of a button. It was like stepping back 100 years and walking into a magnificent new hotel; we could feel the history. Peacock Alley was spectacular with the clock taking centre stage. We were lucky enough to be there for Thanksgiving and at a time to enjoy the amazing decorations. We dined at Lex Yard and were very happy to have Silvan looking after us and ensuring we had the most fabulous dinner. All in all, our stay at The Waldorf was the highlight of our trip. The hotel is stunning, our suite fabulous, the ambience was buzzing, the food was delicious, but most importantly, the staff were superb- they are without doubt a huge asset to the hotel.

Newly renovated and fantastic. The hotel has staff from Singapore and Hong Kong who speak Mandarin and Cantonese, making it one of the most welcoming hotels for Chinese guests. Breakfast offers two restaurants to choose from, both with excellent food, including good Japanese cuisine. A top choice for anyone visiting New York.

I have been blessed to stay at many exceptional hotels around the world. I do have to say that the remodel of this hotel is stunning and very classy. What I didn't expect was that the employee service would be exceptional. During my stay I received a phone call to my cell phone while I was in the lobby of the hotel on another call. I let it go to voicemail and it was the hotel checking on my stay. I called back the hotel to speak with Maryam Hamedanizadeh, the Assistant Director of Rooms. I shared with her how impressed I was, not only with the hotel, but for the kind follow-up. She came to the lobby to greet me herself! She handed me her business card and told me a little of the history of the hotel and many of the services it had to offer. I texted her later that day to tell her how impressed I was with taking the extra time and being proactive. She even set reservations for me at one of their two top notch restaurants! Now that's service! Maryam and this hotel are a class act!

The long-awaited renovation and reopening of this hotel was a challenge that I believe was not just met, but redefined. Starting with our room, the spaciousness, décor, and finish made for a homely feel rather than a typical hotel. The cleanliness of the room was amazing. We were celebrating our anniversary which we mentioned at check in and this was recognized by everyone we encountered. The service throughout the stay was wonderful. From the moment we alighted from our taxi to the tour we received of the room, everyone was super helpful and made us feel welcomed. Megan graciously gave us an impromptu tour of the lobby area after check-in. Sandra provided us with a small token to commemorate our stay. You could tell that the staff actually wanted to be there as opposed to just going through the motions. We dined at the Lex Yard and Saiyda, our server, was excellent! The Waldorf salad was as tasty as we expected. We also had the lamb and the monkfish which were both delicious. We had in-room dinning for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was able to hear the streets of New York from my room but that actually added to the ambiance of the location of this property. You're in the heart of midtown, Manhattan and all that has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel with no hesitation. Good job Waldorf Astoria New York!

The newly renovated Waldorf Astoria is absolutely incredible, from the service the moment you walk in, to the amenities, comfort and details in the room. Noah was a terrific host who sent me a welcome gift (drinks and a snack) to my room and even after my trip sent me a link to the pillows they use as I had mentioned how much I loved them on my way out! I love staying at Waldorf's and I have to say out of the 6 Waldorf properties I have stayed at while all excellent this one is above and beyond. I can't wait to come back!

I would like to share my unforgettable stay at The Waldorf Astoria New York, the best hotel experiences I've ever had, to express my appreciation. I would like to celebrate my birthday at the hotel and had emailed the hotel in advance. Noah, the Front Office Manager, replied in quick response and told me he'd help arrange things. He is so kind and mentioned that my check-in day was actually his day off, but he hoped to meet me in person the next day before I left. So, I was totally surprised when I check in and found Noah wait for me with a smile. He told me he switched his day off just to welcome me! I was deeply touched and moved by him. He didn't just hand me a key. He took the time to give me a personal tour of the legendary hotel, especially telling the story of the Bell. Getting to know the history of the hotel made my stay more meaningful. Here is the thing that really got me. During checking in, He asked the concierge to deliver my luggage to my room in advance. He must have noticed my almost worn-out luggage tag. When I got to my room, not only did I find a lovely birthday setup, but I also spotted a brand new luggage tag on my suitcase! The fact that he noticed such a small detail and took care of it silently. That is absolutely next-level service! It wasn't just professional, it was genuinely thoughtful and kind. The hotel itself is stunning, of course. It combines historical and modern perfectly. The room was spotless, everything is quite new with a fabulous design style, and the gym is massive. The gym is quite large with different kinds of equipments especially it even has the stair climber. And the breakfast is awesome as well. I tried the French toast which was the best I ever had. The taste was really balance. It is still worth to try even if I were not stay at the hotel. The location of the hotel is in the center of Manhattan, very close to the top of the Rock, fifth avenue, grand central and Subway. The hotel is very suitable for travelers. Besides, every staff member I met there seemed happy and proud to be there. It's a wonderful atmosphere. I think Waldorf New York is lucky to have such professional team members like Noah. I believe they perfectly epitomize the Waldorf spirit and philosophy. It's because them I will continue to choose Waldorf and other Hilton brands in my future trips. Highly recommended the Waldorf Astoria New York without any hesitation!

We just spent two nights at the Waldorf Astoria, and what a stay! After being closed for almost eight years, walking back through those doors felt like going home after a long time away. The history, the elegance, and the warmth of the service—it was all still there, but elevated in the best way possible. Everything about the experience was flawless. From check-in to checkout, the staff made us feel like honored guests, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The rooms are stunning, with every detail carefully thought out for comfort and style. Dining was exceptional—world-class food and service that reminded us why this hotel has always been an icon. Yes, the prices are higher than before, but you truly get what you pay for. This is a five-star experience in every sense of the word, and worth every penny. After waiting nearly a decade for the Waldorf’s return, I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. We can’t wait to come back—it was absolutely worth the wait.
