Thanks for the room service, keep up the Ornges and scrambled eggs, the iced melon was good. The chubber and lamb steaks with herbs and sauce were great. I hope to be invited to Roo 2006 or 2010-10. The photo of the alchohol was taken by me drunk under supervision.

The hotel is in a great location, with a high-definition view of the entire Central Park.

This hotel was not what I anticipated. While its location is undoubtedly prime, it didn't meet the Ritz-Carlton standards I've come to expect. The rooms felt small, with dirty windows, basic amenities, and some old-fashioned decor and furniture elements. The service was basic, lacking the attention to detail I've encountered at other locations. Moreover, given the quality, the price was steep. If you're set on the Ritz-Carlton experience in this city, I'd suggest exploring their other properties or considering a different hotel.

This place was one of the best restaurants I have been in a long time. I felt a little bit intimidated at first, but when I sat there for awhile with my wife, I had such a great feeling and it was so much fun to be there with her. I really enjoy restaurants that have a cozy feel and this was definitely one of them. I was really happy with the service. The place was so busy and we always had everything we needed and we were taken care of. I loved the fact that we had so many good food items. The dessert was awesome and the entrees were both so beautiful and good. This is one of the top places in New York for people that are interested.

Gorgeous view of Central Park and place has old New York vibe. Outdated decor. Very empty restaurant even at Saturday brunch time (probably because they closed at 2pm...who does that?). Friendly but bored staff. The flatbread we ordered was tasty and nicely presented. The coffee is pretty horrible and the tea is Bigelow teabag that most likely has been sitting around for too long as it has no tea taste left....
But again, the view!

Can I just say holy f. The burgers here are worth the wait. Though my husband and I visited late at night so we didn’t wait at all. Simple menu, no bs froufrou. Delicious food, nice people making it, and a fun charming atmosphere. Definitely a must check out.

Really good Chinese food. Go for the soup dumplings!

How to eat:
Place dumpling on spoon
Bite top and suck the broth out
And eat

We also shared 2 dishes, 1 shrimp and 1 beef. Both were amazing and we gobbled it all up.

Next time I go, I'm going to try some spare ribs. Saw others eating and I had food envy.

Worth checking out. Original location is in Chinatown, but this location in midtown was much more convenient.

I've tried to go to this place 3 times and the wait is always over an hour. Finally pulled up and got seated right away. The food was great and the service was very fast. They could throw a few more veggie options on there, but it is very vegetarian friendly.

The waiters are speedy and compliant. I think they upgraded their soup dumplings because it tasted better than the last time I came here. Their fried rice is also really tasty. I think my favorite is the crab dumplings. Usually there's at least a 10 min wait, always crowded.

I didn’t realize this was the same one as the tourist trap in china town- my bad. Unfortunately it is and this midtown location isn’t much better. Their $17 sesame chicken consisted of maybe 6 jumbo chunks maybe equivalent to one chicken breast of chicken, heavily breaded and literally half the container was steamed frozen broccoli. Ugggg. What a complete rip-off. I see in the other pics now they purposely build up their dishes to look like there is more food than you’re really getting, paying for. The soup dumplings were pretty standard but I don’t care for the leaf they place underneath. It makes the dumpling wrap soggy on the bottom and the dumplings absorb that odd leafy taste. Very underwhelming and much better options around. Doubt I’ll ever order from here again.
